INTRODUCTION POST - SLEEMFIT

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog. My name is Samuel a.k.a Sleemfit. I am 27 years old and I am Nigerian. This is my first vlog on 3speak and also my very first post on the hive blockchain.

I'm a singer, songwriter and live performer. I have a degree in Creative Arts, music is what I do. I practically live and breathe music. I personally agree with the quote by Friedrich Nietzsche which says "Without Music, Life would be a mistake," because honestly, I don't know how I'd survive without music in the world we live in today.

I've been singing for as long as I can remember. From childhood till date. First off from home early in the morning when we gather as a family to pray, we definitely must sing Praises to God and sometimes I'm asked to lead, And oh lest, I forget I'm a Christian and I believe in God. Growing up, I joined the choir in church as a teenager backing up the lead singer and sometimes being the lead singer myself, which is a lovely experience that has helped refine my sound and made me a better performer, and I'm really grateful to God for the gift.

Presently I post covers of popular songs on my social media platforms and I get good comments and reviews. I also have a lot of people asking for my own original songs instead of doing only covers, because they believe I was made for this.....so I'm looking to do music full time cause it's all I can do without stress and I really enjoy doing it. How amazing it would be, making money from doing what you really love..sounds really cool to me.

I was introduced to this platform by my very good friend @nonsowrites who believes I have what it takes to thrive on this platform, he's been super supportive and really patient in putting me through the whole process of joining this platform ..thanks buddy

I'd love to reach a wider audience through this platform with my music, make new friends from around the world, and learn about cryptocurrency as that is one of the most talked-about things on the internet. I also plan to join communities, and contests, mainly doing musicals on hive. I'd love to create and post more musical content, and I'm really open to collaborations even across borders cause I believe music is a universal language. And I hope to generate enough income to help fund, support and kickstart my career in music through this platform.

Apart from music, what I do for fun is play football, work out sometimes (although I get lazy sometimes), play scrabble and a tiny little bit of chess, and I love going out to fun places(restaurants, malls) and of course video games.
