¡Hola una vez más! Estoy de vuelta en esta ronda de el Music Festival y se siente muy bien estar compartiendo música aquí. La verdad no pude participar en las 3 rondas anteriores por tiempo y no tenía el compromiso de estar apoyando con comentarios. Pero bueno ya está semana está mucho mejor y listo para participar.

Como es habitual en mi, traigo un cover en piano de la banda The Church llamado "Under The Milky Way". ¿Por qué toco este tema hoy? Bueno un amigo aquí de Hive llamado @bitcoinbaby publicó un post sobre algunos covers que le gusta escuchar y había un cover en especial que era esta canción, tocada por una chica. El ha sido un apoyo y comparte muchos de mis covers no solo acá, sino en sus redes y con amigos.

Así que le pregunté si quería que yo hiciera una versión en piano de ese tema y él aceptó. Así que aquí está la versión para hive y el festival. Pronto haré otra para mi canal de YouTube. Para ser sincero esta canción la practiqué hace un par de horas y este fue el resultado. Creo que la ventaja de conocer previamente la canción, y que la he estado escuchando en los pasados días, ayudó a que la melodía esté en mi cabeza y ya con el piano hacer los demás arreglos.

En parte me hizo sentir muy bien ya que me recordó la época en que podía sacar canciones en un mismo día, supongo que también tenía menos responsabilidades en ese tiempo, pero aún así podía sacar varias canciones rápido. Quisiera volver a hacer eso y con buena calidad por supuesto. Esta fue la primera toma que hive y aunque hay detalles pequeños, para sacarla en una horas, quedé satisfecho con el video.

La canción en si es sencilla y con acordes muy fáciles, lo cual me ayuda a que los pequeños arreglos que hice vayan acorde a la armonía. También el gusto por este tipo de música ayuda a que me fluya mucho más. ¡Espero les guste este cover y muchas gracias por escuchar y el apoyo dado! Nos vemos pronto.

The Church - Under The Milky Way

Hello once again! I'm back in this round of the Music Festival and it feels great to be sharing music here. The truth is I couldn't participate in the previous 3 rounds because of time and I didn't have the commitment to be supporting with comments. But well this week is much better and ready to participate.

As usual in me, I bring a piano cover of the band The Church called "Under The Milky Way". Why am I playing this song today? Well a friend here on Hive named @bitcoinbaby posted a post about some covers he likes to listen to and there was one cover in particular which was this song, played by a girl. He has been supportive and shares a lot of my covers not only here, but on his networks and with friends.

So I asked him if he wanted me to do a piano version of that song and he accepted. So here is the version for hive and the festival. Soon I will make another one for my YouTube channel. To be honest I practiced this song a couple of hours ago and this was the result. I think the advantage of knowing the song previously, and that I have been listening to it in the past few days, helped me to get the melody in my head and with the piano to make the rest of the arrangements.

In part it made me feel very good as it reminded me of the time when I could get songs out in one day, I guess I also had less responsibilities at that time, but I could still get several songs out quickly. I'd like to do that again and with good quality of course. This was the first take I did and although there are small details, to get it out in an hour, I was satisfied with the video.

The song itself is simple and with very easy chords, which helps me to make the small arrangements that I did go according to the harmony. I hope you like this cover and thank you very much for listening and for your support! See you soon.
