Hola Pukumundo Community, welcome to La Voz Cantante week #60. I trust we all are doing good, In line with our regular theme (rock and metal music) I'd be performing a classic by Canadian singer-songwriter and actress Shania Twain called "You're still the one". I was really little when this record was released, growing up listening to this beautiful song.... I couldn't help but fall in love with it. The song was released over 2 decades ago precisely 1998. The song's genre can be classified as soft rock. Honestly this song has got to be one of the most tasking song I've had to cover, trying to sing on the original key of the song which is done by a female wasn't so easy 😩 but I tried my best and I do hope that's good enough for you my friends at least. Lol I had up to 8 takes before I came up with the one I felt was good enough for the blockchain this week.

You're still the one is a love song that shows doggedness in the face of adversaries, beating all odds against your relationship. Many people have said your relationship won't work out due to one reason or the other., It's easy to judge from the outside when you don't know the whole story. But love triumphs here, you two have defied all odds and are still standing strong no matter what people say or what life throws at you...you both are in love and that's all that matters. No matter what people say, you'd still choose your partner and you're so glad you two are proving the critics wrong. True love conquers all, when you really love someone, you accept them for who they are and not what you want them to become. You choose them over and over irrespective of what society says, He/she would still always be the one for you no matter what. You find happiness and fulfilment seeing how far you both have come, after so many years spent together you still want to be with this person only because you're in love and hope things remain like this.

Hola Comunidad Pukumundo, bienvenidos a la semana #60 de La Voz Cantante. Confío en que a todos nos vaya bien. De acuerdo con nuestro tema habitual (música rock y metal), interpretaría un clásico de la cantautora y actriz canadiense Shania Twain llamado "You're still the one". Yo era muy pequeño cuando se lanzó este disco, creciendo escuchando esta hermosa canción... No pude evitar enamorarme de ella. La canción fue lanzada hace más de 2 décadas precisamente en 1998. El género de la canción se puede clasificar como rock suave. Honestamente, esta canción tiene que ser una de las más exigentes que he tenido que versionar, tratar de cantar en la tonalidad original de la canción que está hecha por una mujer no fue tan fácil 😩 pero hice mi mejor esfuerzo y lo hice. Espero que eso sea lo suficientemente bueno para ustedes, mis amigos, al menos. Lol, tuve hasta 8 tomas antes de que se me ocurriera la que sentí que era lo suficientemente buena para la cadena de bloques esta semana.

You're still the one es una canción de amor que muestra obstinación frente a los adversarios, superando todas las probabilidades en contra de su relación. Muchas personas han dicho que su relación no funcionará por una u otra razón. Es fácil juzgar desde afuera cuando no conoces toda la historia.
