Hello Hive open mic community, it's week #199 of our weekly concert and as always I'm super excited to share my entry. In line with this week's theme "Brasil" as selected by recent spotlight artiste @boeltermc, I'd be performing a song by Nigerian singer and songwriter Fireboy Dml called Peru. When I saw the theme for the week "Brasil", I honestly didn't know what song to present at first cause I'm really not familiar with songs from Brasil. All I know about Brasil is that they're a major footballing nation, and it's a country in South America. So I thought why not perform a song from that region, hence Peru 😉 because it's also a country in South America. I have chosen this song because it's a really good song that I really enjoy listening to, I've perfromed the song a couple of times but I can't even get enough of it. I'm sure you all would agree with me when you listen to this record. This song was released in the year 2021 and it's still a jam to date. This song was an instant success when it came out, that it got the attention of English singer-songwriter Ed sheeran. Fireboy and Ed Sheeran collaborated afterwards on the remix of this amazing record.

Peru is a song with so much good vibes, danceable with a very catchy lyrics. A song about living your best life, enjoying your life, cause life is short. Live in the moment and don't over-think stuff, let go of your worries...holding on to it changes nothing. Enjoy🎧 my cover of this smash hit 😉. See you all next week 🥂.

Hola comunidad de micrófono abierto de Hive, es la semana #199 de nuestro concierto semanal y como siempre estoy muy emocionado de compartir mi entrada. De acuerdo con el tema de esta semana "Brasil", seleccionado por el reciente artista destacado @boeltermc, interpretaría una canción del cantante y compositor nigeriano Fireboy Dml llamada Perú. Cuando vi el tema de la semana "Brasil", honestamente no sabía qué canción presentar al principio porque realmente no estoy familiarizado con las canciones de Brasil. Todo lo que sé sobre Brasil es que es una nación futbolística importante y es un país de América del Sur. Entonces pensé por qué no interpretar una canción de esa región, de ahí Perú 😉 porque también es un país de Sudamérica. Elegí esta canción porque es realmente buena y realmente disfruto escucharla. La he interpretado un par de veces pero ni siquiera puedo tener suficiente. Estoy seguro de que todos estarán de acuerdo conmigo cuando escuchen este disco. Esta canción se lanzó en el año 2021 y sigue siendo un éxito hasta la fecha. Esta canción fue un éxito instantáneo cuando salió y llamó la atención del cantautor inglés Ed Sheeran. Fireboy y Ed Sheeran colaboraron posteriormente en el remix de este increíble disco.

Perú es una canción con mucha buena vibra, bailable y con una letra muy pegadiza. Una canción sobre vivir tu mejor vida, disfrutarla, porque la vida es corta. Vive el momento y no pienses demasiado en las cosas, deja de lado tus preocupaciones... aferrarte a ellas no cambia nada. Disfruta🎧 mi versión de este gran éxito 😉.
