Hello hive open mic community, I hope we're all doing great.
It's the hive open mic week #159 with the theme "A good friend" which was chosen by our recent spotlight artist @jesus-son
After much contemplation on what to sing, I came to the conclusion of singing a hymn titled "what a friend we have in Jesus".

A friend is someone other than a family member or lover that is affectionate, whose company one enjoys and also offer assistance and support.
A good friend is one who is beneficial, worthwhile, effective, supportive, pleasant, enjoyable etc.

I think everyone wants a good friend, no one wish to have a bad friend, a saying goes thus "a friend in need is a friend indeed."
We crave for a good friend but have we also take time to think if you're a good friend to someone aswell. Respect they say is reciprocal, you shouldn't be expecting what you can't give, don't expect to get the kind of treatment that you can't give someone. If we all can work on ourselves to be a good person that means everyone will have a good friend and therefore the world will be a better place.

This song says a whole lot about my interpretation for this theme, For me I choose Christ as my best friend, the only friend I can trust and confide in, and this is why I'll be presenting this gospel song.

Es la semana de micrófono abierto de Hive #159 con el tema "Un buen amigo" que fue elegido por nuestro reciente artista destacado @jesus-son
Después de mucha contemplación sobre qué cantar, llegué a la conclusión de cantar un himno titulado "Qué amigo tenemos en Jesús".

Un amigo es alguien que no es un miembro de la familia o un amante que es afectuoso, cuya compañía se disfruta y también ofrece asistencia y apoyo.
Un buen amigo es aquel que es beneficioso, valioso, eficaz, solidario, agradable, disfrutable, etc.

Creo que todo el mundo quiere un buen amigo, nadie desea tener un mal amigo, dice un dicho "un amigo en necesidad es un amigo de verdad".
Anhelamos un buen amigo, pero también nos tomamos el tiempo para pensar si también eres un buen amigo para alguien. El respeto dicen que es recíproco, no debes esperar lo que no puedes dar, no esperes recibir el tipo de trato que no puedes dar a alguien. Si todos podemos trabajar en nosotros mismos para ser una buena persona, eso significa que todos tendrán un buen amigo y, por lo tanto, el mundo será un lugar mejor.

Esta canción dice mucho sobre mi interpretación de este tema, para mí elijo a Cristo como mi mejor amigo, el único amigo en quien puedo confiar y confiar, y es por eso que estaré presentando esta canción evangélica.
