Hello friends. It's another beautiful week in this community of awesome people. These are some stressful days, but it's always a pleasure to be here.

It's my birthday in a couple of minutes. It's been a long and meaningful year, but this is one of the times I actually think about and evaluate how much progress I've made. I was talking with a friend recently, and he was complaining about how he feels he has done nothing with his life lately. I could relate, but deep within me, I know I'm on a journey, but how is this related to the theme for the week?

Countless times, I've had people tell me how to make something of myself, how to tap into my potential, how to... I'm not complaining; it shows how much they care about me making the most of my time. I can't count how many times passion shows up on the "how-to" lists. I sometimes feel lost, but I have this peace in me knowing I'm doing it right and it'll all make sense someday.

Despite looking and not finding these "passions", I'm certain that I have a role and I have meaning, and I won't go speechless. I have a voice and a say, and I will make the best of it while I can.

Sometimes I get worried about time going by so fast, but my friend Gil tells me something from time to time. He says, "Gladdy, you are young. And if there is something you have, it is time". He taught me to think of myself as 13 years old with a few years of experience. Funny but meaningful. So here's me telling myself happy birthday and cheers to another year of experience.

Hola amigos. Es otra hermosa semana en esta comunidad de gente increíble. Son unos días estresantes, pero siempre es un placer estar aquí.

Es mi cumpleaños en un par de minutes. Ha sido un año largo y significativo, pero este es uno de los momentos en los que realmente pienso y evalúo cuánto he progresado. Hace poco hablaba con un amigo y se quejaba de que últimamente sentía que no había hecho nada con su vida. Yo me sentía identificada, pero en el fondo sé que estoy en un viaje, pero ¿cómo se relaciona esto con el tema de la semana?

En innumerables ocasiones, la gente me ha dicho cómo hacer algo por mí mismo, cómo aprovechar mi potencial, cómo... No me quejo; eso demuestra lo mucho que les importa que aproveche mi tiempo. No puedo contar cuántas veces aparece la pasión en las listas de "cómo hacerlo". A veces me siento perdida, pero tengo esta paz en mí sabiendo que lo estoy haciendo bien y que todo tendrá sentido algún día.

A pesar de buscar y no encontrar esas "pasiones", tengo la certeza de que tengo un papel y un sentido, y no me voy a quedar muda. Tengo voz y voz, y lo aprovecharé mientras pueda.

A veces me preocupa que el tiempo pase tan rápido, pero mi amigo Gil me dice algo de vez en cuando. Me dice: "Gladdy, eres joven. Y si hay algo que tienes, es tiempo". Me enseñó a pensar que tengo 13 años y unos cuantos de experiencia. Divertido pero significativo. Así que aquí estoy yo diciéndome feliz cumpleaños y salud por otro año de experiencia.
