This song I specially played for my Hive friends and all The Beatles fans here! ️🎤️🎸

It is festivals season, cold season, and also the time when many of us look forward to going home to our families ️🎉
I am still 500 miles from home and not sure when I can be back again.
I also have many friends here that have left Viet Nam.

***Carrying with me so much love for people I’m far away from, I want to spread it out here to send to you all.
I specially feel very emotional these days when it turns cold, with my homesickness, I feel more alone. ***

And this, I mean “alone” is different from “lonely”. I am alone but I am still happy and still working hard every day. Each day is a new chapter for me to create something new, something fun, something beautiful to bring to this world and this community.

I have met so many amazing friends and specially incredible musicians here on Hive, I’ve got many supporters as well.
I have been on the right place right on the first day I started to write my first post on Hive 40 days ago. And everyday has always been an exciting and sweet day! 😊️💞

And so, here is the story of that day when I played this song:
I would say: Is it a... tradition for me to break guitar string at Open Mic at The Trip on Thanksgiving every year? haha
Last year I broke the string and the host asked me to try the electric guitar and I could barely hold it stable cause it kept slipping off my hands.

This year I played two rounds and broke 2 strings 2 times!
And just being a good girl, I picked up the electric guitar again myself before being asked to, and I realized that I still have zero skills on electric guitar lol

However this time was so much fun so I decided to hold on to the electric guitar and play 3 songs on it.
I secrectly wish I had an electric guitar teacher like that guy on the lead guitar. He is the best in town that I've known! And this is our first time jamming together!
And you’ll see I broke a string at the end of the video 😝

I can’t tell enough how much I appreciate music and jamming nights like this to bring all the musicians together, to give us rare chances to try out new things, to be ourselves, to take our energy our of our bodies and mind, to spread it to others, into the crowd!
We do gigs, but an Open Mic Night is a whole new thing! COME TOGETHER, RIGHT NOW!
That is what it means to be! 🤗
