I chose this song because I think it's high time we let go of this mentality that women can't verbally tell men they like them.

Mostly in Africa,well let me say Nigeria to be precised, it's frowned upon when women ask men out. I don't think this should be a gender thing. Some women are ashamed to speak up instead they will be dropping "green light" till the guy ends up marrying someone else. Some women has been "friend-zoned" and "sister-zoned", all because they can't speak up.
