Happy and blessed week everyone! It is my pleasure to join 151st week to share my music with the Hive Open Mic community. The current theme is Faith, Hope and Love, which I find very beautiful. Although I don't remember the exact book and verse, there is a part of the new testament that indicates that we should cultivate these three attributes, but it is emphasized that the most important of all is love, since love is the motor of the world; for love we were created and in that sublime gift we should remain, demonstrating it to God, to ourselves and to our neighbor.

Today I want to present a cover of a song that in my adolescence I used to listen to in the church of my community and its name is Pinceladas de Eternidad (Brushstrokes of Eternity). I was looking for its author or lyrics both on the internet and in printed songbooks that I have at home and I couldn’t get anything about it, so its authorship is anonymous. If any of you know any information about the origin of this song please let me know in the comments. In spite of that I wanted to share it with you, making use of my memory.

This song describes God as a multifaceted artist, whether a painter or a musician, He shapes His art in His creation, the earth in His canvas and with His brushstrokes He gives us color and hope. In the same way he is able to create music with a divine breath; his musical notes sound and give life to his children. For its part, his creation loaded with that great love is able to write a new story, looking towards a better future.

¡Feliz y bendecida semana a todos! Es grato para mí unirme a la semana 151 para compartir mi música con la comunidad de Hive Open Mic. La temática actual es Fe, Esperanza y Amor, la cual me parece muy hermosa. Aunque no recuerdo el libro y el versículo exacto, hay una parte del nuevo testamento que indica que debemos cultivar estos tres atributos, pero se hace hincapié en que el más importante de todos es el amor, ya que el amor es el motor del mundo; por amor fuimos creados y en ese don tan sublime debemos permanecer, demostrándolo a Dios, a nosotros mismos y a nuestro prójimo.

Hoy quiero presentarles un cover de una canción que en mi adolescencia solía escuchar en la iglesia de mi comunidad y lleva por nombre Pinceladas de Eternidad. Estuve buscando su autor o su letra tanto en internet como en cancioneros impresos que tengo en casa y no pude conseguir nada al respecto, por lo tanto su autoría es anónima. Si alguno de ustedes sabe algún dato sobre el origen de este tema por favor háganmelo saber en los comentarios. A pesar de eso quise compartirla con ustedes, haciendo uso de mi memoria.

Esta canción nos describe a Dios como un artista multifacético, ya sea un pintor o un músico, Él plasma su arte en su creación, la tierra en su lienzo y con sus pinceladas nos da color y esperanza. Del mismo modo es capaz de crear música con un soplo divino; sus notas musicales suenan y dan vida a sus hijos. Por su parte, su creación cargada de ese gran amor es capaz de escribir una nueva historia, mirando hacia un mejor futuro.
