Hello, dear friends of Hive Open Mic! I am pleased, as always, to share my music with this great community every week. For this edition we are inspired by the theme "A Better World for All". I have chosen the song ¿Por qué no Volverán? (Why won't they come back) by the Italian singer Laura Pausini from the album of the same name, released in 1994. This song is very little known and I am sure that for many it will be the first time they hear it. I have made some adaptations to the original song to adapt it to my voice.

The song alludes to the nostalgia of those past times, of childhood and youth, which are considered much better times, full of smiles, innocence, games and songs, happier times that we wish they would come back. I hope you like my version.

¡Hola, queridos amigos de Hive Open Mic! Me complace, como siempre, compartir mi música con esta gran comunidad cada semana. Para la presente edición nos inspiramos en la temática "Un Mundo Mejor para Todos". He escogido la canción ¿Por qué no Volverán? de la cantante italiana Laura Pausini perteneciente al álbum homónimo, lanzado en el año 1994. Esta canción es muy poco conocida y estoy segura que para muchos será la primera vez que la escuchen. Yo he hecho algunas adaptaciones en cuanto a las subidas de tono que hace la canción original para acoplarla a mi voz.

La canción hace alusión a la nostalgia de aquellas épocas pasadas, de la niñez y juventud, que se consideran tiempos mucho mejores, llenos de sonrisas, inocencia, juegos y canciones, tiempos más felices que desearíamos que volvieran. Espero que les guste mi versión.
