Hello, dear Hive Open Mic family! Today I'm very excited about this week's theme which is called Telling a Story, because I can imagine all the epic and interesting presentations that we can find around this topic.

Every day that passes we are building the story of our lives, adding a new chapter, sometimes with wonderful incidents and worthy of commemorating, others not so much, as they come with certain difficulties that ultimately more than just sadness leave us teachings and experiences to overcome and evolve.

On this occasion I bring a cover that speaks precisely of a great story. It is La Leyenda del Hada y el Mago (The Legend of the Fairy and the Wizard), a song by the Argentine Heavy Metal band Rata Blanca as part of their album Magos, Espadas y Rosas published in 1900. Personally I mentally place this narrative in medieval times, in an enchanted forest where a romance is born between a Wizard in need of love and a sweet Fairy, that although they face hard obstacles, they will look for a way to stay together forever.

¡Hola, querida familia de Hive Open Mic! Hoy me encuentro muy emocionada con la temática de esta semana la cual lleva por nombre Contando una Historia, pues me imagino todas las épicas e interesantes presentaciones que nos podremos encontrar en torno a este tópico.

Cada día que pasa vamos construyendo la historia de nuestras vidas, agregando un nuevo capítulo, a veces con incidencias maravillosa y dignas de conmemorar, otras no tanto, ya que vienen dadas con ciertas dificultades que a fin de cuentas más que solo tristeza nos dejan enseñanzas y experiencias para superarnos y evolucionar.

En esta ocasión traigo un cover que habla precisamente de una historia genial. Se trata de La Leyenda del Hada y el Mago, canción del grupo de Heavy Metal argentino Rata Blanca como parte de su álbum Magos, Espadas y Rosas publicado en el año 1900. En lo personal ubico mentalmente esta narrativa en la época medieval, en un bosque encantado donde nace un romance entre un Mago urgido de amor y una dulce Hada, que aunque se enfrentan a duros obstáculos buscaran la forma de permanecer juntos para siempre.

Y el mal que siempre existió, no soportó

Y con su odio atacó, hasta que el hada cayó

Que devolviera a su hada
