Have a wonderful week, friends of Hive Open Mic! I'm glad to be able to participate after a week of absence due to health reasons. This time we came across an interesting theme, it’s "Memories", proposed by featured user @rukkie.

Memories are those remembrances that we carry engraved in our mind, soul and heart and that are an important part of life as they help us to have a perspective of how we have evolved as human beings. These memories can be pleasant and make us happy, however sometimes some of them can be not so positive, and it’s in that case that we should embrace them and take them as learning experiences.

For this edition I want to present a song that talks about memories of a relationship that used to be healthy and rewarding, but with the passage of time and routines was changing for the worse. It is Bastaba (It used to be enough), written by the Italian singer-songwriter and composer Niccolò Agliardi, which has been covered in Spanish by Laura Pausini as part of the album Inédito from 2012.

Tengan todos una maravillosa semana, amigos de Hive Open Mic! Me alegra poder participar después de una semana de ausencia por motivos de salud. En esta ocasión nos topamos con una interesante temática, se trata de "Recuerdos”, propuesta por el usuario destacado @rukkie.

Los recuerdos son esas memorias que llevamos grabadas en nuestra mente, alma y corazón y que forman parte importante de la vida pues nos ayudan a tener una perspectiva de cómo hemos evolucionado como seres humanos. Estas memorias pueden ser agradables y nos hacen felices, sin embrago a veces algunas pueden ser no tan positivas, y es en ese caso que debemos abrazarlas y tomarlas como experiencias de aprendizaje.

Para esta edición quiero presentarles una canción que habla de recuerdos de una relación que solía ser sana y gratificante, pero que con el paso del tiempo y las rutinas fue cambiando para mal. Se trata de Bastaba, escrita por el cantautor y compositor italiano Niccolò Agliardi, y que ha sido versionada en idioma español por Laura Pausini como parte del álbum Inédito del año 2012.
