This time I want to show you a nice necklace made from black Terlenka thread with two types of knots, 4-strand and Macramé with a cross pendant. Let's see the materials and the step by step.

¡Hola, queridos amigos de Jewelry! Qué alegría poder compartir una vez más con ustedes en esta maravillosa comunidad dedicada al mundo de la joyería y la bisutería. En esta ocasión deseo mostrarles un lindo collar de hilo negro de Terlenka con dos tipos de nudos, de 4 vueltas y de Macramé con un Dije de cruz. Vamos a ver los materiales y el paso a paso.

We will need / Vamos a necesitar:

2 m. of Terlenka thread, decorative beads and pendant, straw, scissors, lighter, hardcover folder and paper clip.

2 m. de Hilo de terlenka, Dije y cuentas decorativas, pitillo, tijera, encendedor, carpeta de pasta dura y sujeta papales.

We start by making a simple knot of 4 or 5 turns, remember that to make this knot we must pass the thread through the channel, then we make the turns to the left over the piece, pass the end of the thread through the channel and pull. It is necessary to press the knot to the left until it is firm.

Iniciamos realizando un nudo sencillo de 4 o 5 vueltas, recordemos que para hacer este nudo debemos pasar el hilo por la canaleta, luego hacemos las vueltas hacia la izquierda por encima de la pieza, pasamos el extremo del hilo por la canaleta y halamos. Es necesario presionar el nudo hacia la izquierda hasta que quede firme.

At about 10 centimeters we make another knot to create the central part of our necklace, then we place a bead, I chose a bright blue one.

A unos 10 centímetros realizamos otro nudo para crear la parte central de nuestro collar, luego colocamos una cuenta, yo elegí una azul brillante.

Afterwards, we make a section of about 2 centimeters with another type of knot, in this case the basic or flat macramé. For this we will need a folder of hard paste and a paper fastener with which we will hold the main thread, while with another piece of about 40 cm we will make the knot. The technique consists of starting with a simple loop so that we have two ends of thread, then we make a kind of ring with the thread on the left and pass the tip of the thread on the right under the central thread, crossing the ring, and pull the ends, as shown in the image. Now we do the same procedure on the other side but this time the knot goes on the bottom. We are going to do this successively until completing the piece of about 2 cm.

Posteriormente, realizamos un tramo de unos 2 centímetros con otro tipo de nudo, en este caso el macramé básico o plano. Para esto vamos a necesitar una carpeta de pasta dura y un sujetador de papel con el cual vamos a sostener el hilo principal, mientras que con otro trozo de unos 40 cm vamos realizando el nudo. La técnica consiste en iniciar con un lazo sencillo de modo que nos queden dos extremos de hilo, posteriormente hacemos una especie de argolla con el hilo de la izquierda y pasamos la punta del hilo de la derecha por debajo del hilo central, cruzando la argolla, y halamos los extremos, como vemos en la imagen. Ahora hacemos el procedimiento en el otro lado pero esta vez el nudo va por la parte de abajo. Vamos a hacer esto sucesivamente hasta completar la pieza de unos 2 cm.

Now we pull to tighten the macrame knot and remove the excess thread, burning carefully with the help of a lighter. Next, we place another decorative bead, followed by a 4-strand knot. Now it is time to place the central piece of the necklace, which in this case consists of a transparent cross charm.

Ahora halamos para ajustar el nudo macramé y eliminamos los excedentes de hilo, quemando con cuidado con la ayuda de un encendedor. Acto seguido, colocamos otra cuenta decorativa, seguido por un nudo de 4 vueltas. Ya es hora de colocar la pieza central del collar que en este caso consta de un Dije de cruz transparente.

We make the other end of the piece in a similar way to the previous one, placing a 4-strand knot, a blue decorative bead, the 2 cm macramé knot, another bead and finally a 4-strand knot.

Realizamos el otro extremo de la pieza de forma similar al anterior, colocándole un nudo de 4 vueltas, una cuenta decorativa azul, el nudo macramé de 2 cm, otra cuenta y finalmente un nudo de 4 vueltas.

The only thing left to do is to tie the end knot and remove the excess thread, carefully burning it with the help of a lighter.

Solo falta realizar el nudo del extremo y eliminar los excedentes de hilo, quemando con cuidado con la ayuda de un encendedor.

For the closing mechanism we superimpose the ends on the channel and place a piece of thread to make a knot that wraps everything. We adjust making sure that the ends maintain the mobility towards all sides. Finally we eliminate the excess.

Para el mecanismo de cierre superponemos los extremos sobre la canaleta y colocamos un trozo de hilo para realizar un nudo que envuelva todo. Ajustamos cerciorándonos de que los extremos mantengan la movilidad hacia todos los costados. Finalmente eliminamos los excedentes.
