Hi everyone! How are you doing? I disappeared from Hive for about a month. January was very hectic for me, as I got a new job and then I got sick with COVID-19. But in these days of rest, I recovered what I had been doing in Hive and I really want to finish sharing these vlogs that were so important to me.

In November 2021, I got my heart broken and I decided to get busy so I wouldn't think about it. I entered a dance competition despite not being a professional dancer and invited my friends to participate with me just for the fun of it. Although by the last week of rehearsal, before the competition, we were supposed to know all the choreographies, we still had to learn most of them. But instead of stressing out, our rehearsals were filled with laughter and challenges.

En noviembre de 2021 me rompieron el corazón y decidí ocuparme para no pensar en ello. Entré a un concurso de baile a pesar de no ser bailarina profesional e invité a mis amigas a participar conmigo por pura diversión. Aunque para la última semana de ensayo, antes de la competencia, debíamos de sabernos todas las coreografías, realmente nos faltaba aprendernos la mayoría. Pero, en vez de estresarnos, nuestros ensayos estaban llenos de risas y retos.

On the other hand, in my single and busy life, I recorded myself practicing in my free hours, like at five in the morning and in my pajamas. And I also rehearsed all morning the day before the contest, before I left for my friends' graduation.

We couldn't let the stress take over and paralyze us. We had other things to do besides practicing choreography, like dealing with problems at home, dealing with a breakup, or the endless paperwork for graduation. I am amazed that we were able to rehearse with such commitment and fun, despite everything we were going through.

En este vlog les presento la última semana de ensayo. Esta semana pudimos conseguir un lugar más espacioso para practicar las coreografías grandes. Salimos a pasear y a distraernos un poco. Por otra parte, en mi sola y ajetreada vida, me grabé practicando en mis horas libres, como a las cinco de la mañana y en pijama. Y también ensaye toda la mañana del día anterior al concurso, antes de irme a la graduación de mis amigas.

No podíamos permitir que el estrés nos dominara y paralizara. Teníamos otras cosas que hacer, más que practicar coreografías, como lidiar con problemas en casa, lidiar con un rompimiento, o con los interminables tramites para graduarse. Me sorprende que hayamos podido ensayar con tanta entrega y diversión, a pesar de todo lo que estábamos pasando.
