Practicing for a dance contest | Vlog 1.

Hello everyone! How are you? Today I bring you a new Vlog.

This section will be very special in my Blog, because I will be recording one of the most difficult challenges I have set myself this year.

I haven't danced seriously for almost a year and three years without performing in front of an audience. This time I will be performing at a K-pop event, in a group Dance Cover type of contest. This contest consists of recreating in its entirety the official choreographies of the songs of K-pop groups and artists. I love this kind of contests because they are very typical of these events and it has always been one of my goals to perform in one of these contests, ever since I got to know K-pop.

At first I wanted to compete alone, but I remembered how I started wanting to compete three or four years ago, and I realized that from the beginning I wanted to participate with my best friends. Now they are in the process of graduating and are out of school, they have some free time and we want to take advantage of it by fulfilling a project that we have had since we were teenagers.

Este apartado será muy especial en mi Blog, porque estaré grabando uno de los retos más difíciles que me he puesto este año.

Llevo casi un año sin bailar seriamente y tres años sin presentarme frente a un público. En esta ocasión me presentaré en un evento de K-pop, en el concurso tipo Dance Cover (copia del baile) grupal. Este concurso consiste en recrear en su totalidad las coreografias oficiales de las canciones de grupos y artistas del K-pop. Este tipo de concursos me encantan porque son muy propios de estos eventos y siempre ha sido uno de mis objetivos presentarme en uno de estos concursos, desde que conocí el K-pop.

Al principio me propuse concursar sola, pero recordé como comenzó este querer concursar hace tres o cuatro años, y me dí cuenta que desde el principio quise participar con mis mejores amigas. Ahora ellas están en proceso de graduarse y ya salieron de los estudios, tienen un poco de tiempo libre y queremos aprovecharlo cumpliendo un proyecto que tenemos desde adolescentes.

In this Vlog I show you the first three days of practice and my progress through my own difficulties.

My goal with this vlog series is to see my practice process. To understand my learning process a little more and also to see my struggles from a viewer's point of view. I think seeing how I started and comparing to my final work will be a unique experience. I hope you will join in this experience with me. My goal is to upload one of these Vlogs weekly, so stay tuned.
