With a warm and friendly greeting to the Music Zone community, I want to thank the Hive Music Festival for giving me the opportunity to share my music in this event. As this is my first participation, I wanted to bring a cover of one of the songs that I like the most since I was a kid because I have a cousin who is a big fan and I always used to play it when we were together. 🎤 The song chosen is "Cuenta Conmigo", the ninth song from the 1992 album of the same name by Puerto Rican salsa singer Jerry Rivera. This album is considered one of the most important of his career, ranking as one of the best-selling albums in salsa history. It has even been compared to the iconic "Siembra" by Willie Colon and Rubén Blades. This album received the award for "Tropical Album of the Year" at the 1993 Premios Lo Nuestro. Beyond the album, "Cuenta Conmigo" is ultimately a salsa romantica anthem. And how could it not be? If the lyrics talk about the importance of being there for your loved one in difficult times, of supporting them and making them feel that they can always count on you, sentiments that we can all identify with. The melody is soft, melancholic, emotional and full of feeling.

Con un cordial y ameno saludo a la comunidad de Music Zone, quiero dar las gracias al Hive Music Festival por darme la oportunidad de compartir mi música en este evento. Como esta es mi primera participación, quise traer un cover de una de las canciones que más me gustan desde niño ya que tengo una prima que es muy fan y siempre solía ponerla cuando estábamos juntos. 🎤 La canción elegida es "Cuenta Conmigo", la novena canción del álbum homónimo de 1992 del cantante puertorriqueño de salsa Jerry Rivera. Este álbum es considerado uno de los más importantes de su carrera, posicionándose como uno de los más vendidos de la historia de la salsa. Incluso ha sido comparado con el icónico "Siembra" de Willie Colon y Rubén Blades. Este álbum recibió el premio como "Álbum Tropical del Año" en los Premios Lo Nuestro de 1993. Más allá del álbum, "Cuenta Conmigo" es en definitiva un himno de la salsa romántica. Y ¿Cómo no? Si la letra habla sobre la importancia de estar ahí para la persona amada en los momentos difíciles, de apoyarla y hacerle sentir que siempre puede contar contigo, unos sentimientos con los que todos podemos sentirnos identificados. La melodía es suave, melancólica, emotiva y cargada de sentimiento.

Espero que disfruten mi versión de esta canción y que puedan sentir la misma emoción que yo siento cada vez que la canto. Quiero transmitir el sentimiento que esta canción evoca en mí, ya que creo que es una de esas canciones que tocan el corazón y las emociones de quienes la escuchan.
Quiero agradecer una vez más a la comunidad de Music Zone y al Hive Music Festival por brindarme esta oportunidad. Como músico, es un honor poder compartir mi música con todos ustedes y espero poder seguir haciéndolo en el futuro.
