Dear Splinters,
Peace
I pray that your game adventure started with all the boost that you were expecting since the season reset.
The ruleset this week focuses on "Up Close and Personal". I have not really pay much attention to this type of ruleset since I have been playing to Splinterlands.
I will have a lot of fun discovering the battle of the week tailored under this special ruleset.
May the best warriors take over in the arena.
Up Close & Personal: Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles
Even Stevens: Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles
Super Sneak: All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability
mana-cap-value
38
Melee warriors were the most powerful in my water elemental set. It was a good surprise to find out the strategy of my opponent
Tarsa | Tusk the Wide | ||
Ferox Defender | Exploding Rats
Gargoya Lion | |||
Antoid Platoon | Dumacke Orc |
--
Vera Salacia | Coastal Sentry
Xenith Monk | Parasitic Growth
Diemonshark | |||
Deeplurker | Venator Kinjo |
Warriors from both sides were ready to inflict serious damage to the opponents. I saw the importance of building the armor on each warrior in the arena. I played bold with a selection barely protected. I considered the possibilities to increase my offensive striking force.
I was lucky that the double strike from Sentry and the healing ability of Xenith were on my side.
My card experiences were close enough to the other side on the board.
My opponent planned to defend with Haunted Spirit while attacking from the back with the magic element. It was a strategy with good results between the first and second rounds but the armor protecting the opponent's cards fell. They lost every "one on one" combat after the protection disappeared.
The dragon warriors of melee type could cause way more damage than my selection. If you can play the fire dragon selection on the board under the current ruleset you will be the winner.
I would like to thank Splinter on the opposite side for this magnificent battle.
Warm regards
