    About :

Hello friends of #HIVE and the community @fulldeportes. Today I'm very surprised because in a publication some days ago I announced a personal project that has as a principle to promote chess in children, this morning I was walking in my neighborhood and a boy told me: "I have seen you play chess and I want to learn ", so I spent two hours explaining him the movements of each piece and how the captures were made and obviously I also taught him the objective of the game, after these two hours, he wrote down in a mistreated notebook what I told him. My surprise is that in the afternoon he told me "I want to play a game, let's see if I understood you ", I had to go out and do some errands, so I thought it would be quick, I told him to play with white and he told me to draw lots and it turned out that it was his turn to play with black. This kid is only 9 years old, it turns out that when I opened the game he was answering me with clearly analyzed moves, so since I didn't have a phone at hand to capture the pictures, I looked for a pencil and notebook and wrote down the moves, the game lasted about 40 minutes, even though I came out a winner I was really impressed by the way this kid played. Without further ado, I will describe part of the game. To see the complete game, I invite you to watch the video.

    Opening/Apertura.

I start the game with E4 the boy plays me G6 obviously looking to get his Bishop out early, after we play D4 - Ag6 it is raised The Pirc Defense playing the Variant of the Austrian attack of course, the boy doesn't know this theoretical part yet, but that's the name of this play.

    My First Surprise/Mi primera sorpresa.

One thing I told him was that he had to make his Enroque early to shelter the King and after some plays he does it even first that I took the opportunity to do it.

Then it does this/Luego hace esto.

I didn't recommend this move, I didn't even mention it, but I liked that he took his bishop to the G4 box, nailing the horse, because if I took it out, my lady would fall. Therefore I had to attack his Bishop and when he saw this, he captured my Horse and I his Bishop

He saw the details/Él veía los pequeños detalles.

I was looking for an advantage in capturing pieces, a clear example of this is that he takes his knight to C6 to attack my pawn in D4 since it is not defended by any white piece.

    5.png

He even knew how to keep the tension in the center of the board without losing any piece, that is worthy of admiration.

    6.png

He made good moves when he was lost/ Hizo buenas jugadas cuando estaba perdido.

    7.png

When I got to this position I was already winning the game, since the two Bishops and the Lady were aiming at black castling to this is added the Rook in F1, however, he would not give up and continued playing.

    8.png

Here he makes a good move even though he was already lost, he plays his horse to F5 attacking the white lady but then I capture him with my bishop and later on he gives himself the Checkmate.

    Checkmate/El Jaque Mate.

It happens after the arrival of the Lady to H7, after this the boy smiled and said "you owe me a rematch ".

    9.png

He was so happy to have played a game for 38 minutes that he told me he would be back this Saturday for a rematch.
