The Sunset of Beautiful Coral Island of Bangladesh: St. Martin's Island

Saint Martin’s Island is one of the few coral island of the world and only coral island of Bangladesh. It is about 10 kilometers away from the mainland Teknaf. It would take abound couple of hours by ferry to reach the beautiful island. If you have plan, please do it only for St. Martin’s Island. Do not mix your plan, do not visit both cox’s bazar and St. Martin’s at a time, two-night stay at St. Martin’s would be best. Best travel time would be November to February.

My another recommendation would be booking the cottage in the west beach and please leave your baggage in the hotel/cottage and carry a little bag with an extra dress and go for day long walk. You should able to cover the little island within a day (3 square kilometers).

Do not worry about food! Many fishes! Rupchanda, Shundari, Tuitta, Sea Shol, Koral, Tuna, Salmon, Tekchanda, Guamaitta and off course Shutki Vorta will be available in the Bazar area. You could eat full meal with TK 120-150 with a fish fry; you always could add more fish fry as per your choice.

I do love sunset and watching Sunset seating at the West beach is amazing! You would love it!
