So far and as expected we have seen a large number of exemplary entries this week in which the "Musical Embrace" has taken over the scene, the super talented @eugelys was who proposed this theme that undoubtedly speaks of the personality and essence of this community that does not stop tearing smiles, we see that the Hive Open Mic continues to grow organically and that fills us with joy.

In this week 110 we are pleased to bring you "Si quieres" by Mexican singer Juan Gabriel, this song can be heard in the album "Cosas de enamorados" which was released in 1982, it has been almost 40 years and we were not even born at that time but we have always heard this song and it is still present in our minds with great force.

We feel that this song has a lot of nuances in the vocals which makes it very interesting, it was a real challenge but we were able to find a way to shape it and adapt it. The guitar was another element that we adapted to the style that we have been bringing week after week, it is nothing like the original version, in that sense it is totally different but we are happy with the result.

Hasta ahora y como era de esperarse hemos visto una gran cantidad de entradas ejemplares en esta semana en la que el "Abrazo musical" se ha adueñado de la escena, la super talentosa @eugelys fue quien propuso esta temática que sin duda habla de la personalidad y esencia de esta comunidad que no para de arrancarnos sonrisas, vemos que el Hive Open Mic sigue creciendo orgánicamente y eso nos llena de alegría.

En esta semana 110 tenemos el gusto de traerles "Si quieres" del cantautor mexicano Juan Gabriel, esta canción podemos escucharla en el álbum "Cosas de enamorados" que fue lanzado en el año 1982, ya han pasado prácticamente 40 años y ni siquiera habíamos nacido en ese entonces pero desde siempre hemos escuchado esta canción y sigue estando presente en nuestras mentes con mucha fuerza.

Consideramos que esta canción cuenta con muchos matices en la voz lo cual la hace muy interesante, la verdad fue un verdadero reto pero pudimos encontrar una manera de darle forma y poder adaptarla. La guitarra fue otro elemento que adaptamos al estilo que venimos trayendo semana a semana, no se parece en nada a la versión original, en ese sentido esta totalmente diferente pero estamos contentos con el resultado.
