La jugabilidad de Pokémon Unite se basa fundamentalmente en el modo arena; es decir: combatir contra otros Pokémones. Esto fue lo que más me encantó del videojuego, pues creo que está más familiarizada a la esencia original de aquel anime clásico que nos cautivó la infancia. Seré honesto, ninguno de las anteriores franquicias del universo Pikachu logró enamorarme tanto como ésta, y eso que solo jugué el modo de práctica. Podemos personalizar nuestro avatar, incluyendo su nombre; yo opté por Soldiero, ya que es parte de mi distintivo usuario en Hive.

The gameplay of Pokémon Unite is fundamentally based on the arena mode; that is to say: to fight against other Pokémones. This was what I loved the most about the video game, because I think it is more familiar with the original essence of that classic anime that captivated us as children. I'll be honest, none of the previous franchises in the Pikachu universe managed to make me fall in love as much as this one, and I only played the practice mode. We can personalize our avatar, including your name; I opted for Soldiero, as he is part of my Hive user badge.

Primero debemos completar el “Tutorial Inicial”, esto para conocer más a profundidad la dinámica de juego antes del siguiente nivel que corresponde a la arena. Gracias a esto podemos visualizar nuestras habilidades, los controles en la pantalla y la base donde podemos anotar “tantos”; Para ello debemos derrotar algunos Pokémones salvajes para ganar energía y evolucionar nuestros poderes.

First we must complete the "Initial Tutorial", this to learn more about the game dynamics before the next level that corresponds to the arena. Thanks to this we can visualize our abilities, the controls on the screen and the base where we can write down "so many"; To do this we must defeat some wild Pokémon to gain energy and evolve our powers.

La segunda parte del tutorial nos lleva hasta el entrenamiento; es aquí donde todo se pone interesante. El videojuego se encarga de otorgarnos un equipo de ayuda para que entendamos cómo funciona la arena. Los combatientes se dividen en dos equipos de cinco Pokémones cada uno. Solo podemos controlar un Pokémon pero darle órdenes al resto o hacerles llamados para que nos auxilien cuando estemos en aprietos.

A mí me dieron nada más y nada menos que a un Charizard para el entrenamiento… ¡Genial! LOL

The second part of the tutorial takes us to training; This is where everything gets interesting. The video game is responsible for giving us a support team so that we understand how the arena works. The combatants are divided into two teams of five Pokémon each. We can only control one Pokémon but give orders to the rest or call them to help us when we are in trouble.

They gave me nothing more and nothing less than a Charizard for training… Great! LOL

Cada equipo tiene una base; la dinámica consiste en anotar “tantos” en el territorio enemigo marcado con portales naranjas. Para ello debemos recolectar energía Aeos derrotando a los Pokémones salvajes o a los integrantes del equipo contrario. También podemos obtener puntos extras al derrotar a Zadpos, un Pokémon gigante que aparece en un determinado periodo de tiempo en el centro de la arena. Gana el equipo que marque más tantos en un máximo de cinco minutos.

Es como el fútbol, solo que con Pokémones en vez de balones y portales en vez de arquerías.

Each team has a base; the dynamic consists of scoring "so many" in the enemy territory marked with orange portals. To do this we must collect Aeos energy by defeating wild Pokémon or members of the opposing team. We can also get extra points by defeating Zadpos, a giant Pokémon that appears in a certain period of time in the center of the arena. The team that scores the most goals in a maximum of five minutes wins.

It's like soccer, only with Pokémon instead of balls and portals instead of arches.

Los Pokémones de nuestro equipo son, al principio, nivel uno; para poder evolucionarlos hasta su forma final necesitamos vencer muchos enemigos. Esto nos permite además desbloquear habilidades o poderes nuevos que nos ayudarán a tener más ventaja. Mi Charizard pasó de ser un niño a un temible dragón, ¡y en muy poco tiempo!

The Pokémon on our team are, at first, level one; In order to evolve them to their final form we need to defeat many enemies. This also allows us to unlock new skills or powers that will help us have more of an advantage. My Charizard went from being a child to a fearsome dragon, and in no time!

Al ser un videojuego de campo abierto es muy probable que te ataquen varios Pokémones a la vez; nuestra energía de vida, llamada “PS”, disminuye considerablemente debido a los ataques masivos, pero ¡tranquilo! En nuestra base podemos recuperar esa energía para regresar a la batalla. Si somos derrotados el videojuego nos devuelve al punto original, pero sin eliminar la evolución de nuestro Pokémon.

Being an open field video game, it is very likely that several Pokémon will attack you at the same time; our life energy, called “HP”, decreases considerably due to massive attacks, but don't worry! In our base we can recover that energy to return to the battle. If we are defeated, the video game returns us to the original point, but without eliminating the evolution of our Pokémon.
