Review about Insidious: The Red Door - No spoilers [ESP-ENG]

After more than two weeks in theaters we had the opportunity to see Insidious: The Red Door, we were afraid that it would be removed from theaters but we arrived on time; however, we had to pay a strange price because the only theater that had it available turned out to be terrible, we had never been and never will go, it was small, dirty, had no acoustics so we heard the audio from the other rooms; in addition, many people were dedicated to make noise, but well, we are not here to talk about that.

This is the fourth movie of this interesting saga and it came to give total continuity to the previous ones in a very integrated way, all the characters are the same and the timeline makes a lot of sense, that speaks very well of the movie since nothing feels forced. I was very impressed that they focused on shaping the story instead of trying to scare us at every moment with Jump scare, something they usually do in most horror movies and series.

Luego de más de dos semanas en cartelera tuvimos la oportunidad de ver Insidious: The Red Door, teníamos el temor de que la quitaran de los cines pero llegamos a tiempo; sin embargo, tuvimos que pagar un extraño precio ya que el único cine que la tenía disposible resultó ser terrible, nunca habíamos ido y más nunca iremos, era pequeño, sucio, no tenía nada de acústica así que escuchábamos el audio de las otras salas; ademas, muchas personas se dedicaron a hacer ruido, pero bueno, no estamos aquí para hablar de eso.

Esta es la cuarta película de esta interesante saga y llegó para darle total continuidad a las anteriores de una manera muy integra, todos los personajes son los mismos y la línea temporal tiene mucho sentido, eso habla muy bien de la película ya que nada se siente forzado. Me llamó mucho la atención que se enfocaron en dar forma a la historia en vez de querer asustarnos a cada momento con Jump scare, cosa que acostumbran hacer en la mayoría de películas y series de terror.

I think the film has a lot of integrity, it does not abuse of the terrifying resources that we are used to see in the genre but it gives us a good dose of nerves that of course must be present, there are also certain arguments that make us calculate and understand the reason for the events, so in that sense it was a rounded film that leaves nothing to chance. I see probable that they can bring more films of this saga since Dalton, son of the protagonist, understands in a clearer way the astral travels that give so much sense to the story, so because of his youth it is possible that they want to exploit this universe for a few more years.

Creo que la película goza de mucha integridad, no abusa de los recursos terroríficos que acostumbramos ver en el género pero nos da una buena dosis de nervios que por supuesto deben estar presentes, hay tambien ciertos argumentos que nos hacen calcular e ir entendiendo el porque de los acontecimientos, así que ese sentido fue una película redonda y que no deja nada al azar. Veo probable que puedan traer mas películas de esta saga ya que el Dalton, hijo del protagonista, entiende de una manera mas clara los viajes astrales que tanto dan sentido a la historia, así que por su juventud es posible que quieran explotar este universo por unos años mas.
