Hive Open Mic Week #173 || Remember Me by Fireboy DML || Cover by Wealthwess

Hello Everyone! it's another week on hive open mic weekly consert and i'm glad to be representing yet again, by the way i hope everyone is doing good? That said, the theme for this week is Memories which is a beautiful one and based on the theme i'd be performing a cover of a song by fireboy dml titled Remember Me.

Talking about "Memories", memory functions through the repeated process of storing and recalling data. Memory is an integral part of human cognition, because it allows individuals to recall and draw upon past events to frame their understanding of and behavior within the present.

Individually, we've all passed through some stages in our life's in which some memories has been created, whether it's a good one or otherwise there are some of these memories we can never forget as it's now part of us. For me there are some memories i can't just forget, like the first time i recorded my first song, like when i became a graduate or is it when i was posted to Benin City in Edo State to serve my country during my NYSC program?. These are really good memories i always thought about. Of course i don't want to talk about the bad ones and not reopened an old wound.

However, I chose this song "Remember Me" because the song writer (artiste) made the song about what he wanted people to remember him off when it's all done and dusted in life. Just to mention few from the lyrics, he wished to be known that "He lived his life with kindness in his eyes and love inside his heart". My question to us all is what do you want people to talk about you, when you're gone? What Memories are you planning to leave behind, a good one legacy or the "i don't care" type? Anyways it's all about our choices but whatever we leave behind, will definitely be talked about. My wish is to leave a good one. :)
