La música puede hacernos sentir las mejores emociones, recordarnos momentos agradables y otros amargos, seguramente nos hemos sentido identificados con algo, podemos colocarnos en los zapatos de otros imaginando el dolor que puede sentir.

Cuando inicié mi primer semestre en la universidad de artes fué una experiencia interesante y de gran aprendizaje, no tenía la potestad de elegir el tema que quería, eso en momentos me traía ansiedad y pánico porque normalmente cantaba lo que yo dominaba y me sentía cómoda, pero al tener que interpretar una pieza donde no tenía el control absoluto de nada la situación se tornaba estresante para mí, tenía que hacer una investigación intensa para saber el porqué el autor había escrito esa letra.

Music can make us feel the best emotions, remind us of pleasant moments and other bitter ones, surely we have felt identified with something, we can put ourselves in the shoes of others imagining the pain they may feel.

When I started my first semester at the University of Arts it was an interesting experience and a great learning experience, I did not have the power to choose the theme I wanted, that at times brought me anxiety and panic because I usually sang what I dominated and felt comfortable, but having to interpret a piece where I had no absolute control of anything the situation became stressful for me, I had to do an intense research to find out why the author had written those lyrics.

Mi primera presentación en la universidad se trataba de un personaje que se fue en busca de un gran amor, pasó por todas las desgracias de la vida y al fin de cuentas no pudo obtenerlo, regresó con la pena y el dolor en el alma, también interpreté a una mujer que estaba siendo engañada por su esposo con la mujer que la ayudaba hacer las cosas del hogar, canciones infantiles, de muerte, alegría, un desfile de diferentes situaciones que pusieron a prueba cada parte de mi, pero de lo que hoy agradezco por enseñarme tanto.

La mayoría de ellas nunca la he vivido en carne propia, pero allí es donde entra nuestro papel como intérpretes, ser ese personaje que cuenta la canción.

Recuerdo que ese primera presentación nuestra profesora preparó un acto que hizo llorar a muchos de los presentes, de una manera extraordinaria hizo que un tema conectara con otro y enlazó una historia de amor y desamor que gustó mucho.
