Hello Afri-tunes family!
It's 15th of December, a special day for me as my dad was born on this day years ago. I'm yet to figure out what to give to him as a birthday gift but I'm excited and feeling so grateful as if it's my birthday. @ebingo had once asked if I could feature my dad in a song video where we would sing together, I'm still planning on that hehe.
For now, you can join me to wish him a happy birthday and I'll make sure to have him read them 😊
My number one full support, God bless your new age daddy ❤️
It's week 40 and I decided to do a song by Lara George titled "Ijoba Orun" a yoruba song covered by an Urhobo girl, so don't mind her pronunciation, she tried her best to sing the words well enough. I chose to add subtitle to the video for easy read, it wasn't easy but I had fun doing it.
Most of the video editing was done by sister which I really appreciate, I'm still trying to get use to a new video editing app recommended by her. I hope the vide came out well enough.
The song is a solemn one, focuses more on heavenly goals and how one prays to be with God at last in the Home above. I honestly never thought the song had such a meaning until recently when I started to learn the lyrics and what it means.
Lara George is one of the gospel artists I love so much, I actually wanted to sing another song done by her but decided to go for this first, may submit the other song for next week's entry.
The song is an old one but still gold and I get goosebumps whenever I listen to it. Not sure mine will give even a cool breeze though but I had fun preparing this entry, just listen and enjoy the little I did. Your comments are very much appreciated for my improvement.
