This week's theme, "Asian Culture," is particularly exciting. While the theme focuses on culture, I'd like to bridge the gap to music since that's at the heart of our community. As a longtime fan of Asian music, I've encountered many incredible songs through movies. Though I can't pinpoint a specific genre for "Asian music," the variety I've discovered has been truly enjoyable.

El tema de esta semana, "Cultura asiática", es particularmente emocionante. Si bien el tema se centra en la cultura, me gustaría tender un puente hacia la música, ya que es el corazón de nuestra comunidad. This love of Asian movies actually leads me to a film I absolutely adored 12 years ago – Dream High (2012). The English title might seem a bit out of place, but it actually piqued my interest. It hints at the core theme of the movie: dreaming big and striving for a fulfilling life, never settling for less.

In response to this week's theme, I'd like to present the movie's lead song, also titled "Dream High." While I can't speak Korean, the melody itself is incredibly powerful. If only I could sing it with the same energy as the movie's cast!

Based on what I've found online, the song delves into the challenges of low self-esteem. It encourages us to keep striving for our dreams, no matter the obstacles. And that's the message I want to leave you with today: Embrace your passion, don't let self-doubt hold you back, and enjoy the journey.
