MUSIC COMMUNITY|JAZZ IMPROV OF AMAZING GRACE||JAZZ FINGERSTYLE GUITAR AND VOICE COVER
Hello awesome people and music lovers, I hope you are doing great. It is an utmost pleasure for me to be here once again to musically express my self and to share my thoughts with you.
Today, I have decided to share an amazing song with you. The title of this song is amazing grace. Many persons have performed this song in many different styles and genres yet the song remains ever new each time because of its unique flow and Deep message of self reflection, conversion and forgiveness. I can also say that it is quite an emotional song that gives some kind of inner peace. This song was written in the seventeenth century by John Newton as a poem but then in 1835 almost 7 decade later, William Parker put tune to the words.
This song has grown to an unbelievable popularity and has been remixed to different styles although it is mainly popular among Christians.
Personally, I have enjoyed the jazz version of this song better, and that is why I have chosen begin my presentation with a Fingerstyle intonation of the song accompanied by some jazz chords. Afterwards I sang the song.
I really hope that you enjoy it!!
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come
This grace that brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home
When we've been here ten thousand years
Bright, shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see
