Hello, guys! Music lovers of our beloved community, Open Mic 2024 is here. I want to use this opportunity to welcome you all officially through my humble blog into the brand new year of 2024.

¡Hola, chicos! Amantes de la música de nuestra querida comunidad, Open Mic 2024 está aquí. Quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para darles la bienvenida oficialmente a todos a través de mi humilde blog al nuevo año de 2024.

I am super glad to be here once again with you all, and it's all thanks to the Almighty Father who has granted the opportunity to remain in the land of the living with so many beautiful opportunities to bring positivity to our society and much creativity to contribute to the Hive Open Mic community.

Estoy súper feliz de estar aquí una vez más con todos ustedes, y todo gracias al Padre Todopoderoso que ha brindado la oportunidad de permanecer en el mundo de los vivos con tantas oportunidades hermosas para llevar positividad a nuestra sociedad y mucha creatividad para contribuir a la comunidad de Hive Open Mic.

I hope you all spent your Christmas and New Year holidays with family, friends, well-wishers, and loved ones. In my case, I had a very beautiful moment with a community doing a mission in the outskirts of It tooku man in Argentina. It was a beautiful experience, and from there, I have been inspired with many ideas and creativity to bring to the community in this brand new year.

Espero que todos hayan pasado sus vacaciones de Navidad y Año Nuevo con familia, amigos, bienhechores y seres queridos. En mi caso, tuve un momento muy hermoso con una comunidad realizando una misión en las afueras de It tooku man en Argentina. Fue una experiencia hermosa, y desde entonces, he estado inspirado con muchas ideas y creatividad para aportar a la comunidad en este nuevo año.

As always, this week we have a very beautiful theme which is "Amistad," which translates to friendship in Spanish. What a beautiful theme to begin the year with! Truthfully, I am super emotional about this theme, and I wish to comment in response that friendship is as important as family. In fact, there are several sayings that affirm the fact that some friendships are more valuable than family. In as much as this sounds a little bit sad, situations and experiences have shown this to me.

Como siempre, esta semana tenemos un tema muy hermoso que es "Amistad", que se traduce a la amistad en español. ¡Qué hermoso tema para comenzar el año! Sinceramente, estoy súper emocionado por este tema, y quiero comentar en respuesta que la amistad es tan importante como la familia. De hecho, hay varios dichos que afirman el hecho de que algunas amistades son más valiosas que la familia. Aunque suene un poco triste, las situaciones y experiencias me lo han demostrado.

But, of course, there are always nuances. Obviously, we are talking about friendships where reciprocity and sacrifice hold the highest ships and are evident. For me, I would prefer to say friendship is a non-blood-related family with a very intense and firm bond, similar to that of an ideal family. Friendship is a very important phenomenon, and as we know, when one does not have many friends, one risks becoming depressed. There are things that one feels more comfortable sharing with friends than even with families. Also, it is important to state, since we are in a new year, the importance of reviewing our friends in the sense of removing all those who have a bad influence on us. Because true friendships should be about motivating each other to achieve each other's goals and not influencing one another towards and far away from the life goal. So, the importance of reviewing and shuffling off all those who do not bring us closer to our positive heart desires.

Pero, por supuesto, siempre hay matices. Obviamente, estamos hablando de amistades donde la reciprocidad y el sacrificio tienen el lugar más alto y son evidentes. Para mí, preferiría decir que la amistad es una familia no relacionada por sangre con un vínculo muy intenso y firme, similar al de una familia ideal. La amistad es un fenómeno muy importante, y como sabemos, cuando uno no tiene muchos amigos, corre el riesgo de deprimirse. Hay cosas con las que uno se siente más cómodo compartiendo con amigos que incluso con la familia. También es importante señalar, ya que estamos en un nuevo año, la importancia de revisar a nuestros amigos en el sentido de eliminar a todos aquellos que tienen una mala influencia en nosotros. Porque las verdaderas amistades deben ser sobre motivarse mutuamente para lograr los objetivos del otro y no influenciarse mutuamente hacia y lejos del objetivo de vida. Así que, la importancia de revisar y apartar a todos aquellos que no nos acercan a nuestros deseos positivos del corazón.

Truthfulness is also a very important trait that a true friendship should have because if you have a friend who does not tell you the truth even when you go wrong, who does not have the courage to challenge you when you go wrong, then the person is not worth being your friend. Everyone should have friends who are willing to be transparent to them both in good times and not so good times.

La sinceridad también es un rasgo muy importante que una verdadera amistad debería tener, porque si tienes un amigo que no te dice la verdad incluso cuando te equivocas, que no tiene el valor de desafiarte cuando te equivocas, entonces esa persona no merece ser tu amigo. Todos deberíamos tener amigos dispuestos a ser transparentes tanto en los buenos momentos como en los no tan buenos.

Without further ado, I wish to present a song that strongly highlights the importance of friendship. It emphasizes the importance of being there for our friends and giving it all to make sure that our friends feel safe and loved. This song also points out the importance of communication because communication, they say, is the fuel of every friendship or relationship. Hola, even if it's just to say and assure each other we think about.

The title of the song is "How Are You My Friend" and is sung by Johnny Drill, a very fine Afrobeat pop artist known in Nigeria. I said sort of love doctor for his love singing relationship and friendship-related songs. His songs have been used in many wedding parties.

I had to practice various times to perfect this song because it's quite jumpy, which makes playing and singing at the same time a little bit tricky.
