Antes de elaborar un cover es importante identificarse con la canción. Es muy difícil cuando se quiere forzar un trabajo musical, a su vez esperando un buen resultado, sin siquiera disfrutar del recorrido hacia la meta. Es por esta razón por la que en la mayoría de mis publicaciones termino haciendo Rock.

En mi camino como músico me tocó compartir tarimas con bandas nacionales e internacionales, siendo las agrupaciones venezolanas las que más me marcaron. Entre ellas se encuentra Liquet. Tuve la oportunidad de presenciar de cerca el trabajo de ensayo, armado de tarima, prueba de sonido, y finalmente el espectáculo. De estas experiencias aprendí mucho, razón por la cual agradeceré a estos músicos por el resto de mi vida.

Conocí a su fallecido vocalista y bajista, Manuel, una persona con gran sentimiento por la música y que logró transmitir toda esa carga emocional en sus temas, brindando siempre un amor ascendente en cada show. Fue una persona con la que me identifiqué e influencié por mucho tiempo, y al día de hoy, ya casi un par de décadas desde que abandoné los escenarios, aún sigo emocionado al interpretar cualquier canción de esta gran banda de Rock.

"Y Cada Vez", es una canción de Liquet de su álbum de estudio Nada es Eterno. Una absoluta obra maestra del Rock Venezolano. Recuerdo haber escuchado esta canción muchas veces, compartiendo con mis amigos, cantado una y otra vez, ya que tiene una atmósfera muy cotidiana en la adolescencia, como lo es el desamor. Creo que a todos nos ha pasado alguna vez, y este tipo de interpretaciones despiertan internamente al cantar y tratar de emular el sentimiento inmerso en la pieza. Una vez más abordo el tema de la identificación con el material, crear la conexión con la melodía, ya lo demás es pura descarga.

Por lo que ahora les muestro mi descarga con esta bonita canción de Rock Venezolano. Que la disfruten.

Before making a cover it is important to identify with the song. It is very difficult when you want to force a musical work, in turn expecting a good result, without even enjoying the journey to the goal. That is why in most of my publications I end up doing Rock.

In my way as a musician I had the opportunity to share stages with national and international bands, being the Venezuelan groups the ones that marked me the most. Among them is Liquet. I had the opportunity to witness up close the work of rehearsal, stage setup, sound check, and finally the show. I learned a lot from these experiences, which is why I will thank these musicians for the rest of my life.

I met their deceased vocalist and bassist, Manuel, a person with great feeling for music and who managed to transmit all that emotional load in his songs, always providing an ascending love in each show. He was a person with whom I identified and influenced for a long time, and to this day, almost two decades since I left the stage, I am still excited to perform any song by this great Venezuelan Rock band.

"And Everytime" is a Liquet song from their studio album Nada es Eterno. An absolute Venezuelan Rock masterpiece. I remember hearing this song many times, sharing with my friends, singing over and over again, because it has a very everyday atmosphere in adolescence, such as heartbreak. I think it has happened to all of us at some point, and this type of interpretation awakens us internally when we sing and try to emulate the feeling immersed in the piece. Once again I approach the subject of identification with the material, creating the connection with the melody, the rest is pure discharge.
