    ENGLISH

Hiii, grandma greets you, as you may have seen in my post about The First Scare of the Year I had a major medical complication that took me to the emergency room; that day I could not explain much because I posted almost coming out of the emergency room, I had not yet been completely discharged so I will take the time to explain a little more here.

Since I can remember I am an allergic person, as a child it was much worse because I was allergic almost to water, without exaggerating, but I spent most of my childhood fighting that and today I am allergic to several things like Coconut, Shellfish, Oysters, Cigar and Dust; I also suffered from asthma for many years but I was also in treatments and countless nebulizations until I was "cured", although asthma is never really cured.

In 2021 I was infected with Covid-19 and I got it quite mildly, only my sense of smell was affected because I never lost my taste but it was evidently affected; it didn't give me any major problem or anything or at least that's what I thought. After that I never went for a check up with a pulmonologist because I trusted that everything was still in order until last Thursday; since a few months ago I have had a recurrent cough but I didn't pay attention to it because it was the classic allergic cough and as I was in constant contact with the smell of cigarettes, I thought that with an antiallergic everything would be cured.

This past week the cough appeared and was escalating little by little to the point that my chest sounded like a drawer, clear symptom of an asthmatic cough, I took an antiallergic and hoped that it would cure me as if it were a miracle; the cough escalated to such a point that I got stuck, as if my body forgot to cough and I was choking because I stopped breathing, I had many scares because the pressure I felt in my head was such that I thought my veins could explode.

Thursday was a horrible day, in the early morning I stopped breathing but my dad was close by to help me, the bad thing happened during the day because I was alone and I got stuck again, I panicked because I didn't know how to ask for help, luckily I managed to control myself and start breathing again but I immediately called my dad to go to the emergency room. At the clinic I was too nervous because they had told me that it was possibly a Pneumothorax and that scared me too much because that was what my Mo @dimeilaz had emergency surgery for so I started to think the worst; they did several tests and luckily only an Acute Rhino Bronchitis with Bronchial Hyperactivity with Resolved Bronchospasm, in English, my asthma that supposedly had already cured me was reactivated.

They gave me a cocktail of intravenous medications (I have to thank my Mo @dimeilaz who was close by to give me his hand and support because they know I have an incredible phobia of that and alone I couldn't have endured all that) for two days, If I didn't live near the clinic I would have had to spend the night there, they gave me a medicine that opens the bronchial tubes and that's where I realized that I wasn't breathing at all since I was given Covid, not enough air was getting into my lungs and that's why I got tired so fast walking or doing different physical activities; For the treatment at home they sent me 9 more medications and they are extremely strong, to the point that I have had to stop all drinks containing caffeine because I have constant tachycardia attacks due to the medications, several have distorted my taste to the point that EVERYTHING TASTES LIKE SOAP, it's horrible.

Since I started the treatment I have been spitting an absurd amount of saliva and mucus of whitish color, it tastes horrible because it tastes like soap and it is all day that I spent expelling mucus and salivating horribly but that means that the drugs are properly cleaning my lungs of all garbage they had stored there. Currently the cough is much better, its frequency is very low and the strength has decreased a lot too, after I finish this treatment I must go to a pulmonologist to control the asthma so that it does not bring problems again, meanwhile I must rest at home and keep away from dust, smoke, strong detergents, foods like seafood, that have coloring or acids and citrus fruits which has cost me a lot because my favorite juice is the Passion Fruit juice.

Now I feel better, little by little I'm improving and I know that soon I will get out of all these things that affect me; I must thank my dad a lot for continuing to run with me when I need it most, also to my Mo @dimeilaz because he gave me the courage to endure all this issue of the clinic and the tracks that affect me negatively. Thank you so much for reading me, see you soon💙
