Esta pieza tan hermosa creada por el maestro Manuel Yánez fue compuesta según cuentan en la región de Guayana más específicamente en el estado Bolívar al ver una flor de chupachupa también conocida como lirio de agua tras ver como era arrastrada por las corrientes del cause del rio Orinoco. Una pieza que sin dudas nos recuerda la sutil nostalgia de una tristeza amorosa pero que a su vez en sus notas refleja el agradecimiento y la alegría de haber vivido ese amor. Sin duda alguna de mis piezas favoritas de mi país. Una joya para nuestros oidos.

This beautiful piece created by the maestro Manuel Yanez was composed, according to the story, in the region of Guayana, more specifically in the state of Bolivar, when he saw a chupachupa flower, also known as water lily, after seeing how it was dragged by the currents of the Orinoco River. A piece that undoubtedly reminds us of the subtle nostalgia of a sad love but at the same time in its notes reflects the gratitude and joy of having lived that love. Undoubtedly one of my favorite pieces of my country. A jewel for our ears.
