Hello Hivians,
Welcome to another week on #hiveopenmicweek166.

The theme for this week is "Never Give Up" with our spotlight artist @ksam.

This week I will be singing a song titled "Hold On to Jesus".

I choose this song because it a song that talks about confidence in Jesus.

Sometimes the situation around one will make someone lose hope.
There was a time in my life that everything was not working according to my plan.

When I finish High school, things turn around unexpectedly during my high school days, I planned that after my ssce exams, I will go to a higher institution to study marketing.

Unfortunately, my father lost his job and feeding became difficult for my family.

Despite the hardship then, my father never ceases from serving God. It was during that time his faith was so strong that he also told us never to give up and that things will turn around for good for us.

How he got another job was a miracle.
It was one of his colleagues Mr. Lawal by name that recommended him to his new boss.
From that job, he was able to build an apartment for the family. Also, he did many things during that time.
It happens at the exact time.

Then it was in the year 1999, but now it is a story because my father never give up. He did not allow the circumstances he was passing through to overwhelm him.

We pass through a lot then. we the children fell sick. I would remember only my elder sister did not fall sick but the remaining three all fell sick. During that period our landlady gave out a notice to vacate her house.

But my father always says that

Maybe God is testing his faith.

And there is one thing he always does

he always sings praises to God and sings the song of faith.

I decided to share this story of mine with everyone that wants to give up.

Because there will never be a victory if there is no battle.
Know that whatever you are passing through today is just for a while, it will never last forever.
Bible says weeping may endure for a night but joy will surely come in the morning.

Bienvenidos a otra semana en #hiveopenmicweek166.

El tema de esta semana es "Never Give Up" con nuestro artista destacado @ksam.

Esta semana voy a cantar una canción titulada "Aferrarse a Jesús".

Escogí esta canción porque habla de la confianza en Jesús.

A veces la situación que nos rodea nos hace perder la esperanza.
Hubo un tiempo en mi vida que todo no estaba funcionando de acuerdo a mi plan.

Cuando terminé el instituto, las cosas dieron un giro inesperado. Durante mis años de instituto, planeé que después de los exámenes de selectividad, iría a una institución superior para estudiar marketing.

Por desgracia, mi padre perdió su trabajo y la alimentación se volvió difícil para mi familia.

A pesar de las dificultades, mi padre nunca dejó de servir a Dios. En aquella época su fe era tan fuerte que también nos dijo que nunca nos diéramos por vencidos y que las cosas nos irían bien.

Cómo consiguió otro trabajo fue un milagro.
Fue uno de sus colegas, el Sr. Lawal, quien le recomendó a su nuevo jefe.
Gracias a ese trabajo, pudo construir un apartamento para la familia. Además, hizo muchas cosas durante ese tiempo.
Sucedió en el momento exacto.

Entonces era el año 1999, pero ahora es una historia porque mi padre nunca se rindió. No permitió que las circunstancias por las que estaba pasando le agobiaran.

Pasamos por muchas cosas entonces. los niños caímos enfermos. Recuerdo que sólo mi hermana mayor no enfermó, pero las tres restantes sí. Durante ese periodo, nuestra casera nos avisó de que teníamos que desalojar la casa.

Pero mi padre siempre dice que

Quizás Dios está poniendo a prueba su fe.

Y hay una cosa que siempre hace

siempre canta alabanzas a Dios y entona la canción de la fe.

Decidí compartir esta historia mía con todos los que quieren rendirse.

Porque nunca habrá victoria si no hay batalla.
Sepan que todo lo que están pasando hoy es sólo por un tiempo, nunca durará para siempre.
La Biblia dice que el llanto puede durar una noche, pero la alegría vendrá por la mañana.
