He is the light of the world. He command light in Genesis 1:2 and there was light.
He instructs us as His children to be light because He is light and anywhere there is light darkness disappears.

There is a difference between light and fire.
Light is brightness.
Fire burn.

Anywhere there is light you will find brightness and everywhere will be shining meaning you will see the glory of the light.

Anywhere there is fire destruction will be in place.
Fire causes destruction, pain, and sorrow.
