Una vida sin esperanzas es una vida sin sentido. Todos esperamos algo, un ascenso en el trabajo, conseguir la cita con esa chica que tanto te gusta, reunir el dinero para comprar ese auto que tanto quieres, que tus hijos se gradúen de la universidad, en fin, todo queremos o anhelamos algo de la vida y es este incesante deseo y esta constante inconformidad la que nos hace vivir esperanzados, con la esperanza de un mañana mejor quizá, o de cumplir algún sueño o meta personal, pero lo cierto es que tener esperanzas es lo que nos llena de motivación para ser mejores cada día, para trabajar duro por nuestros sueños y no rendirnos.

A life without hope is a life without meaning. We all hope for something, a promotion at work, getting a date with that girl you like so much, raising the money to buy that car you love so much, that your children graduate from university, in short, we all want or yearn for something of life and it is this incessant desire and this constant disagreement that makes us live with hope, with the hope of a better tomorrow perhaps, or of fulfilling some dream or personal goal, but the truth is that having hope is what fills us with motivation to be better every day, to work hard for our dreams and not give up.

A veces ocurre que nos llenamos de esperanza con respecto a una relación o un romance y las cosas no salen bien, nuestro corazón se rompe y se quiebran nuestras ilusiones, haciéndonos pasar por momentos muy dolorosos emocionalmente, pero en el fondo de nuestro ser existe una luz que no debe dejar de brillar nunca, la luz del amor propio, si nos amamos a nosotros mismos no hay decepción o desilusión que pueda derribarnos por completo, y de esto se trata la canción que canto para ustedes en esta semana 164 de Hive Open Mic. "Flowers" es un tema que ha sonado bastante últimamente y se ha vuelto muy popular y aunque al principio no le presté mucha atención ya que no soy particularmente aficionado al pop, me ha gustado mucho el mensaje que da la canción y además me divierto mucho aprendiendo e interpretando canciones diferentes a lo que normalmente hago.

Sometimes it happens that we are filled with hope regarding a relationship or a romance and things do not go well, our hearts break and our illusions break, making us go through very emotionally painful moments, but deep down in our being there is a light that should never stop shining, the light of self-love, if we love ourselves there is no disappointment or disillusionment that can bring us down completely, and this is what the song I sing for you in this week 164 of Hive Open Mic is about. "Flowers" is a song that has been playing a lot lately and has become very popular and although at first I didn't pay much attention to it since I'm not particularly fond of pop, I really liked the message that the song gives and I also have a lot of fun learning and performing songs different from what I normally do.

Ejecutar el teclado y cantar al mismo tiempo sigue siendo un desafío para mí y quizá puedan notarlo durante el vídeo ya que hago poco contacto visual con la cámara por estar concentrado en las notas que estaba tocando, estoy esperanzado de seguir mejorando cada vez más en este instrumento, y por otra parte, estoy contento de notificarles que ya estoy bastante mejor de mi dedo pulgar derecho así que pronto estaré subiendo contenido tocando la guitarra ¡esto ha sido todo por el momento, gracias por leer mi post! ¡nos vemos la próxima semana con más música, éxitos y bendiciones para todos!

Playing the keyboard and singing at the same time is still a challenge for me and maybe you can tell during the video as I make little eye contact with the camera from concentrating on the notes I was playing, I'm hopeful to keep getting better and better on this instrument, and on the other hand, I'm happy to notify you that my right thumb is already much better so I'll be uploading content playing the guitar soon, that's all for now, thanks for reading my post!
