🎬 LA DIFERENCIA ENTRE TRAMA Y ARGUMENTO EN EL CINE

Muchas veces confundimos los términos “trama” y “argumento” al hablar de nuestras películas favoritas con familiares o amigos, incluso hay veces que llegamos a utilizarlas como sinónimos. Sin embargo, estas dos palabras tienen significados distintos y hacen referencia a la manera que se estructuran las historias, tanto en el arte literario, como en el cinematográfico.
Por un lado, el argumento es la estructura ordenada de hechos que suceden en una historia, contada en orden cronológico. Y, por otro lado, la trama es la forma creativa en la que se ordenan o desordenan estos mismos hechos para contar la misma historia, que no necesariamente tiene que ser en orden cronológico. En este video lo explico usando la película “Perros de Reserva” como referencia.

We often confuse the terms "plot" and "storyline" when talking about our favorite movies with family or friends, and sometimes we even use them as synonyms. However, these two words have different meanings and refer to the way stories are structured, both in literary and cinematographic art.

On the one hand, the plot is the ordered structure of events that happen in a story, told in chronological order. And, on the other hand, the plot is the creative way in which these same events are ordered or disordered to tell the same story, which does not necessarily have to be in chronological order. In this video I explain it using the movie "Reservoir Dogs" as a reference.
