Hive Open Mic #169: War / ¿Qué Pasa? Cover @juanpth

Hello dear friends of the Hive Open Mic community! Week #169, in which the theme "War" is being addressed.
Talking about War is a bit difficult, because one agrees or, as in my case, disagrees with it. I cannot understand how people fight against each other, to obtain and dominate territories that have belonged to others for generations. As happened, for example, to the American peoples, who were invaded by a foreign power, their territories taken away, their riches stolen, massacred, and their culture, cosmogony, and ancestral traditions taken away. They had no choice but to fight to defend themselves, in a war that lasted more than 100 years, although with little success, due to the disadvantage that represented the warlike and armament capacity that the European brought, who, in the long run, managed to defeat and reduce the aborigine, who ended up being like a slave for the Spaniard. And all with the intention of taking over the territories and the riches of the soil. Interests that have not changed since that time, the so-called colonial era.
It was difficult to choose the theme, although I confess that I listened to many songs before reaching a decision. finally I decided on the song by Arjona, ¿Qué pasa? This song reflects my own feelings when I listen to the news and hear about new wars, knowing that many people are suffering, that they are displaced from their territories, that they die, and that many of those victims are civilians and children. Hopefully someday the world will understand that it is necessary to end the wars and, as Arjona says, ban weapons. It is necessary to continue dreaming of a better world.

¡Hola queridos amigos y amigas de la comunidad Hive Open Mic! Semana #169, en la que se está abordando la temática “Guerra”
Hablar de Guerra es un poco difícil, porque se está de acuerdo o, como en mi caso, no se está de acuerdo con ella. No puedo comprender como los pueblos luchan unos contra otros, por obtener y dominar los territorios que les pertenecen a otros por generaciones. Como les sucedió, por ejemplo, a los pueblos americanos, quienes fueron invadidos por un poder extranjero, arrebatados sus territorios, robadas sus riquezas, masacrados, quitando también su cultura, cosmogonía, y tradiciones ancestrales. No tuvieron otro remedio que luchar para defenderse, en una guerra que duró mas de 100 años, aunque con poco éxito, debido a la desventaja que representaba la capacidad bélica y armamentística que traía el europeo, quienes, a la larga, lograron vencer y reducir al aborigen, el cual terminó siendo como un esclavo para el español. Y todo con la intención de apoderarse de los territorios y de las riquezas de los suelos. Intereses que no han cambiado desde esa época, la llamada época colonial.
Fue difícil escoger el tema, aunque confieso que escuché muchas canciones antes de llegar a una decisión. finalmente me decidí por la canción de Arjona, ¿Qué pasa? Esta canción refleja un poco mi propio sentimiento al escuchar las noticias y enterarme de nuevas Guerras, saber que muchas personas están sufriendo, que son desplazados de sus territorios, que mueren, y que muchas de esas victimas son civiles y niños. Esperemos que algún día el mundo logre comprender que es necesario terminar con las guerras y, como dice Arjona, Prohibir las armas. Es necesario seguir soñando en un mundo mejor.
