Hola querida comunidad de Hive Gaming.

Hoy nuevamente tengo el grato placer de mostrar un nuevo gameplay histórico, es una batalla significativa en las guerras napoleónicas, el juego se llama Napoleón Total War. Esta seria nuestra cuarta batalla histórica que representamos mediante un juego, en todas damos un espacio para la reseña y contexto histórico de esa batalla. Trataré de simular las batallas más enigmáticas de Napoleón Bonaparte hasta llegar a la icónica batalla de Waterloo, la cual significo el fin de la carrera militar del emperador francés.

Historia

La batalla de Austerlitz es conocida como la batalla de los tres emperadores, representando al imperio austriaco, ruso y por supuesto al francés comandado por Napoleón. La batalla se desarrolla luego de la toma de Viena por parte de los franceses, diezmadas las fuerzas austriacas no podían hacerle frente al ejército francés y debieron esperar la llegada del ejército ruso para intentar frenar el avance de Napoleón en territorio europeo.

Esta batalla es catalogada una obra maestra en cuanto a táctica. Napoleón tiende una trampa a los ejércitos de la coalición, despliega a su ejército con un flanco aparentemente más débil y abandona su posición estratégica en colina Pratzen, los rusos al ver este movimiento de aparente debilidad decidieron ordenar el ataque al flanco francés descubierto, sin embargo esto suponía una trampa debido a que la intención del emperador francés logra separar las fuerzas rusas y austriacas, rodeándolos con el grueso de su ejército.

Un movimiento táctico realmente asombroso que Napoleón gano desde los psicológico antes de la batalla, dando muestras de supuesta debilidad en forma de carnada para asestar un mortal golpe al imperio austriaco, que al verse vencido optó por firmar un acuerdo de paz otorgando territorios e indemnizaciones al imperio francés.

A continuación veremos el movimiento de las tropas, las cuales son similares al gameplay mostrado anteriormente, aclarando que el número real de contendientes es mucho mayor que en el juego, sin embargo existe aspectos en la batalla que llaman mucho la atención por el parecido a la batalla real, como lo es la colina Pratzen.

El ejército aliado se separa, haciendo vulnerable sus batallones, otorgando una superioridad estratégica a los franceses.

El ejército aliado separado se encuentra en desventajas y en movimientos de retirada, Napoleón decide atacar la resistencia en flanco izquierdo de los aliados para posteriormente lograr hacerse con una victoria histórica y recordada por sus maniobras estratégicas.

En el Gameplay

En este gameplay al igual que en la batalla real el ejército ruso decide atacar desde la colina Pratzen hacia mi flanco más débil, sin embargo teniendo conocimiento de esto decido rodearlos con el grueso de mi ejército, sobre todo utilizando la caballería, mientras mis cañones apuntan al puesto de artillería enemiga donde incluso una bala de cañón afortunadamente neutraliza a un general enemigo.

Al dividirse el ejército puedo acabar con sus batallones desprotegidos, al tener una ventaja importante en la base de la colina, decido posteriormente avanzar hacia la colina, para ello es necesario acabar con la fuerza de artillería apostada en la cima de la colina Pratzen, para esto realizo un ataque rápido con la caballería, así acabo definitivamente con la amenaza del ejército ruso en la partida. Posteriormente tomo posiciones defensivas en la cima de la colina esperando el ataque del resto del ejército austriaco.

Las tropas austriacas intentan escalar a la cima de la colina sin embargo se ven rodeados de fuego de mi infantería, haciendo que el ascenso sea demasiado para los austriacos y logrando así su retirada, otorgándome de esta manera la victoria de la batalla.

Esta es una demostración de historia a través de un juego, el cual es muy entretenido. De esta manera sigo mi participación en la iniciativa de @Theycallmedan, llamada #BeeInspired, con el objetivo de crear y mostrar contenido creativo, en este caso utilizo un gameplay para mostrar parte de la historia europea, específicamente del año 1805 en la derrota de la tercera coalición contra el imperio francés en batalla de Austerlitz.
De esta manera doy un vuelco en lo educativo utilizando un videojuego, una buena idea incluso para enseñar a los mas jóvenes

Today again I have the pleasure to show you a new historical gameplay, it is a significant battle in the Napoleonic Wars, the game is called Napoleon Total War. This would be our fourth historical battle that we represent by means of a game, in all we give a space for the review and historical context of that battle. I will try to simulate the most enigmatic battles of Napoleon Bonaparte until I reach the iconic battle of Waterloo, which meant the end of the military career of the French emperor.

History

The battle of Austerlitz is known as the battle of the three emperors, representing the Austrian, Russian and of course the French empire commanded by Napoleon. The battle takes place after the capture of Vienna by the French, decimated Austrian forces could not face the French army and had to wait for the arrival of the Russian army to try to stop Napoleon's advance into European territory.

This battle is catalogued as a masterpiece in terms of tactics. Napoleon sets a trap for the coalition armies, deploys his army with an apparently weaker flank and abandons his strategic position on Pratzen Hill; the Russians, seeing this movement of apparent weakness, decide to order the attack on the uncovered French flank, but this was a trap because the intention of the French Emperor succeeds in separating Russian and Austrian forces, surrounding them with the bulk of his army.

A really amazing tactical move that Napoleon won from the psychological before the battle, showing signs of alleged weakness in the form of bait to deliver a deadly blow to the Austrian empire, which upon being defeated chose to sign a peace agreement granting territories and compensation to the French empire.

Then we will see the movement of troops, which are similar to the gameplay shown above, clarifying that the actual number of contenders is much higher than in the game, however there are aspects in the battle that call much attention by the resemblance to the real battle, as is the hill Pratzen.

In the Gameplay

In this gameplay as in the real battle the Russian army decides to attack from the Pratzen hill towards my weaker flank, however having knowledge of this I decide to surround them with the bulk of my army, mainly using the cavalry, while my cannons aim at the enemy artillery post where even a cannonball fortunately neutralizes an enemy general.

When the army is divided I can finish with their unprotected battalions, having an important advantage at the base of the hill, I decide later to advance towards the hill, for this it is necessary to finish with the artillery force placed at the top of the Pratzen hill, for this I make a quick attack with the cavalry, this way I finish definitively with the threat of the Russian army in the game. Later I take defensive positions on the top of the hill waiting for the attack of the rest of the Austrian army.

The Austrian troops try to climb to the top of the hill but are surrounded by fire from my infantry, making the climb too much for the Austrians and thus achieving their retreat, thus giving me the victory of the battle.
