Afri-Christmas Volume 2 || A Cover of Kanyi Jee na Bethlehem @jesus-son

Hello Hive Afri-Christmas Volume 2, my name na @jesus-son and I am grateful to God for the opportunity to make a presentation for another edition of the Afri-christmas event. This year own loud sha but e b like people dey over busy these days, I no dey see some of my people again. My baby @jmis101 no dey show again, @gloriaolar don go Mars abi Jupiter sef, lolz, even our regular customer @jessicaossom no too dey like b4; @meyateingi no even dey at all at all 🤣🤪. In fact, plenty of my babes no dey again. Abeg all of una if una hear una name here, make una run do something post for Afri-Christmas oo, make we chop rice together, but except for @jessicaossom , hehe, e get why😏🙄. Na wa for me sef, I too like talk, lolz.

So on this occasion of the celebration of the Afri-christmas, I decided to represent my culture very well and so decided to go local. Sorry for those who do not understand Igbo, but then I wrote an English translation of the lyrics, so you can eslasily follow. The title of the song I present is "kanyi jee na Bethlehem" which means in English- Let us go to Bethlehem. Go to Bethelehem to do what??

The season of Christams gives an account of the birth of the Lord who came and lived among men. He allowed Himself to be born in the world taking the human flesh inorder to take away our weaknesses. The love that is expressed is without measure and we cannot offer anything in return other than acknowledgement of that great sacrifice and a life of dedication to our God. Thus, this song which I present invites us to go to Bethlehem to give praise to God; to welcome the new Born King and pay Him obeisance.

I love the song because it affords me the opportunity to reflect on the origin of my salvation and a call to an authentic Christian life. I bring you this with joy in the spirit of chrismas
