Hello Hive Open Mic Week #143, my name is jesus-son. Reflecting on the theme of the week: "the voice of 'Hope'", I come to present to you a cover of the song 'Solid Rock'.

I see the song to be very apt for the moment we are: the beginning of the year 2023. It reminds me that Gid is my only source of hope for survival.

_{The year began with a broken violin but my recorder saved the day}

The year is very young with many possibilities but the situation of the world that is ravaged by economic crisis, religious violence, moral decadence, political instability and indeed many evils seem to render the Hope of survival impossible. This is even more in this part of the world: Nigeria.

But the song- Solid Rock gives me hope that all is well amidst the odds. I just need to put my trust in God. My hope should be built on nothing less than in Jesus the Solid. I enjoin you all to approach Jesus in your moments of worries and He will surely take care of you.
