Hello Hive Openmic Community
This is my entry for this weeks openmic In honor and love of them.
For me the topic means a lot because it reminds me of my parents who actually deserve every form of love an honour. The Bible teaches us to honour our parents that our days may be long so whenever the term honor crosses my mind I want to think about them and also I chose a song which I love so much by Owl City, NOT EVERY HERO WEAR A CAPE. It tells a story of soneone ainging for a dad. who played a pivotal role in making him a mand to taught him to drive, fight and to dream. Thats probably every thing a Father should give.
The song also describes those who do so much but may not be recognised by the whole world, Not every hero wear a cape like Superman, Batman they wear capes and they are very much celebrated but not all of them actually have that recognition that they all deserve neither do they put it up on their head but they are Heroes
When I see a mum or dad out there trying to fend for the family to ensure that their children who go to school have food to eat and get to pay to have good clothing reminds me that this people deserve to be celebrated and so for me I want to celebrate and parents and I'm doing the song to celebrate them I also want to celebrate all the people who have helped my hive journey so far and I made it easier to grow and engage and impact here on this platform thank you so much. You all deserve my love and honor.

Lyrics
He doesn't fight crime
Or wear a cape
He doesn't read minds
Or levitate
But every time my world needs saving
He's my Superman
Some folks don't believe in heroes
'Cause they haven't met my dad
He loves his workshop
And rock 'n roll
He's got a hot rod
And a heart of gold
And you could say he's a man of few words
But he talks a lot within
And even though I'm a little taller
I still look up to him
He built me a house in the arms of a tree
He taught me to drive and to fight and to dream
When he looks in my eyes I hope he can see that
My dad's a hero to me
Rust ridden fenders
And doors full of dings
Somehow he can fix about anything
I didn't think he knew how to cry
'Til our dog died that year
He doesn't always say I love you
But I can hear him loud and clear
He built me a house in the arms of a tree
He taught me to drive and to fight and to dream
When he looks in my eyes I hope he can see
That my dad's a hero to me
He built me a house in the arms of a tree
He taught me to drive and to fight and to dream
When he looks in my eyes I hope he can see
That my dad's a hero to me
My dad's a hero to me
My dad's a hero to me
