HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL Week 18 Third Round (ENG-ESP): "The Naughty Cat Song!" (Original)

Hello everybody on HIVE, and especially the Music Zone Community. My name is Jasper and I'm writing (and singing) to you from Cape Town in South Africa! Welcome to Week 18 / Round 3 of the Hive Music Festival! I have only done original songs so far for the Hive Music Festival, and as long as I still have some original songs left in the bag, then the Hive Music Festival is the place for me to keep on revealing them! So here comes another one!

I had some friends around to my house, including @clairemobey, as we were practicing for our gig (as the “MobeyDick” duo) that is coming up on Saturday (18 February 2023). Another old school friend, Anna Dennis, also came along to watch us practice, because unfortunately she won’t be able to make the gig itself. As punishment for not being able to make our gig, I decided to use Anna to help me demonstrate a different kind of song that I have written!

I became a father to beautiful Madison, my first daughter, 18 months ago. She is now walking nicely, and learning her first words. Another thing that is exciting about watching her grow is her interest in musical toys, which I shared in a cute post you can see here: https://ecency.com/hive-193816/@jasperdick/ukyxxvdv

Now, it looks like Madison is not too far away from being able to do the actions to songs like “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”, “The Wheels on the Bus” or “Exercises, Bends and Rises”… so I thought I would try my hand at writing a children’s song, with actions, of my own! That’s where poor Anna comes in – I can’t play the guitar AND do the actions! Luckily the actions are so easy, even a child can learn them, hey Anna? Hahaha!

Seeing as Madison is growing up with two cats that she absolutely loves to terrorize, I thought I would write a children’s song about them! Because they are naughty cats, I thought I would write “The Naughty Cat Song”. Please don’t worry though, we don’t actually smack the cats’ bums when they are naughty – we love them far too much for that, as you can probably tell by the several posts that the cats have had in their honour such as these:

Hola a todos en HIVE, y especialmente a la comunidad de Music Zone. ¡Mi nombre es Jasper y les escribo (y canto) desde Ciudad del Cabo en Sudáfrica! ¡Bienvenidos a la Semana 18 / Ronda 3 del Hive Music Festival! Hasta ahora solo he hecho canciones originales para el Hive Music Festival, y mientras me queden algunas canciones originales en la bolsa, ¡entonces el Hive Music Festival es el lugar para seguir revelándolas! Así que aquí viene otro!

Tenía algunos amigos en mi casa, incluido @clairemobey, mientras ensayábamos para nuestro concierto (como el dúo "MobeyDick") que se realizará el sábado (18 de febrero de 2023). Otra vieja amiga de la escuela, Anna Dennis, también vino a vernos practicar, porque desafortunadamente no podrá asistir al concierto. Como castigo por no poder asistir a nuestro concierto, ¡decidí usar a Anna para ayudarme a demostrar un tipo diferente de canción que he escrito!

Ahora, parece que Madison no está muy lejos de poder hacer las acciones de canciones como "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes", "The Wheels on the Bus" o "Exercises, Bends and Rises"... así que pensé ¡Intentaría escribir una canción para niños, con acciones, propias! Ahí es donde entra la pobre Anna: ¡no puedo tocar la guitarra Y hacer las acciones! Por suerte, las acciones son tan fáciles que hasta un niño puede aprenderlas, ¿eh, Anna? ¡Jajaja!

Al ver que Madison está creciendo con dos gatos a los que le encanta aterrorizar, ¡pensé en escribir una canción para niños sobre ellos! Debido a que son gatos traviesos, pensé en escribir "The Naughty Cat Song". Sin embargo, no se preocupe, en realidad no golpeamos el trasero de los gatos cuando son traviesos; los amamos demasiado para eso, como probablemente pueda ver en las diversas publicaciones que los gatos han tenido en su honor, como estos:
