Hola amigos de Hive, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi última adquisición en cuanto consolas de videojuegos, el Sega Genesis, una consola de 16 bits, lanzada en 1988 para Japón y 1989 para América, Esta consola la adquirí por el precio de 60USD incluyendo el juego de Sonic the hedehog, este icónico personaje cuya popularidad ha perdurado a través de los años y cuyos juegos son sumamente entretenidos.

Espero a principios del otro año inaugurar mi sala de juegos retro, y es por ello que he estado adquiriendo antiguas consolas y juegos. Sobre el Sega Genesis les puedo decir, que es una consola que marcó una era en cuanto a las consolas de 4 generación su principal rival fue Super Nintendo, que aunque tuvo grandes títulos sumamente exitosos, en cuestiones de capacidad era superada por la Sega Genesis. Sobre todo por la posibilidad de tener más Sprites, es decir, espacio para albergar más elementos en pantalla al mismo tiempo, y una proporción más amplia que permitía un mayor campo de visualización, para anticipar movimientos.

Después de adquirir la consola, me di a la tarea de comprar algunos juegos, los cuales tuvieron un costo de 12 dolares cada uno, entre ellos, Aladdin, Jurassic Park, Super Street Fighter II, y El Rey Leon. Son juegos fantásticos, y muy divertidos, de los cuales espero comaprtir Gameplays con la comunidad de Hive.

No puedo cerrar sin hablarles un poco del Mando de esta consola, el cual en su versión original solo contaba con 3 botones, A B C y las direccionales, que incluían diagonales para un mayor control. La estética de este mando siempre me gustó, y además me parece bastante ergonómico, es cómodo de sostener.

I can't close without talking a little bit about the controller of this console, which in its original version only had 3 buttons, A B C and the directional buttons, which included diagonals for greater control. I always liked the aesthetics of this controller, and I also find it quite ergonomic, it is comfortable to hold.
