Hola, amigos de Hive, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el video y las imágenes de una experiencia bastante curiosa que ya anteriormente di a conocer en la plataforma, pero con este post quiero narrar la continuación, de todas formas les contaré desde el principio.

Hace un par de meses mi amiga @chacald.dcymt y yo, llevamos a cabo un emprendimiento de un puesto de ventas que no resultó como esperábamos, la mercancía no se vendió y al ser comestibles no podíamos guardarla por mucho tiempo, así que decidimos darla en donación a los abuelos de un ancianato. Esta mercancía comprehendía Cupcakes y Gelatinas. Cuando llegamos al ancianato, nos recibieron muy bien, y nos invitaron a entregar los comestibles como parte del refrigerio durante los ensayos de un acto con motivo de las ferias del pueblo en el que se iban a presentar los abuelos.

A couple of months ago my friend @chacald.dcymt and I, carried out an undertaking of a sales stand that did not turn out as we expected, the merchandise did not sell and being edible we could not keep it for long, so we decided to give it as a donation to the grandparents of an old people's home. This merchandise included Cupcakes and Gelatins. When we arrived at the old people's home, we were very well received, and they invited us to deliver the groceries as part of the refreshments during the rehearsals of an event on the occasion of the town fairs in which the grandparents were going to perform.

Asistimos y efectivamente hicimos la entrega, los abuelos disfrutaron de los cupcakes y las gelatinas, y grabamos en video parte de su ensayo. Posteriormente nos pusimos de acuerdo con la directora de este ancianato para grabar la gran presentación el día del Desfile del pueblo. De manera que con bastante emoción asistimos para acompañar a los abuelos durante el recorrido y grabarlos en video.

We attended and indeed made the delivery, the grandparents enjoyed the cupcakes and gelatins, and we videotaped part of their rehearsal. Later we agreed with the director of this old people's home to record the big presentation on the day of the town parade. So it was with great excitement that we went along with the grandparents during the parade and recorded them on video.

Para mí fue una bonita experiencia ver cuánto disfrutaron ser parte de este desfile, pero más aun, me encantó ver el trabajo desde los ensayos hasta el día de la presentación, para mi fue una demostración de voluntad, de disciplina. Definitivamente no hay edad para gozarse la vida, para hacer cosas, jamás es demasiado tarde. Los abuelos hicieron un espectacular trabajo, por supuesto guiados por la Directora del ancianato quien destaca por su gran energía , ánimo y paciencia para trabajar en este tipo de actividades que requiere repetición.

For me it was a nice experience to see how much they enjoyed being part of this parade, but even more, I loved seeing the work from rehearsals to the day of the presentation, for me it was a demonstration of will, of discipline. There is definitely no age to enjoy life, to do things, it is never too late. The grandparents did a spectacular job, of course guided by the Director of the old people's home who stands out for her great energy, encouragement and patience to work in this type of activities that require repetition.

Es gracioso, pero llegué a sentirme muy emocionado al ver el resultado del arduo trabajo de estos abuelos, y aunque no tengo ningún vínculo con ellos, más que lo que fue un acercamiento amistoso, pude sentir hasta cierto orgullo, o admiración, emoción al ver como consiguieron su propósito.

It's funny, but I came to feel very excited to see the result of the hard work of these grandparents, and although I have no link with them, more than what was a friendly approach, I could feel even some pride, or admiration, emotion to see how they achieved their purpose.
