Hola amigos de Hive, el día de ayer me encontré con una curiosa araña saltarina en el jardín, así que decidí hacer algunas fotografías y un video para grabar su comportamiento. Me sorprendí bastante por como esta pequeña araña parecía observar con atención el teléfono que acercaba para hacer las fotografías, repentinamente la pequeña araña pareció dar un salto hacia el teléfono, y me pregunté a donde había ido, pero nuevamente estaba en la pared.

Hi Hive friends, yesterday I came across a curious jumping spider in the garden, so I decided to take some pictures and a video to record its behavior. I was quite surprised by how this little spider seemed to be watching carefully the phone I was approaching to take the pictures, suddenly the little spider seemed to jump towards the phone, and I wondered where it had gone, but again it was on the wall.

Esta araña hizo este movimiento repetidas veces , pero al yo estar observando la pantalla no sabía realmente que era lo que hacía, por ello decidí seguir grabando, pero observando desde otro ángulo y pronto pude darme cuenta de que la pequeña araña estaba atacando al teléfono, saltaba hacia él, lo tocaba y volvía a la pared guiada por su tela, esto me pareció impresionante, me pregunto qué habría pasado si tuviese alguna parte del cuerpo en lugar del teléfono, será que me hubiese picado, seguramente que sí.

This spider made this movement repeatedly, but as I was watching the screen I did not really know what it was doing, so I decided to continue recording, but watching from another angle and soon I could realize that the little spider was attacking the phone, jumped towards it, touched it and returned to the wall guided by its web, this seemed impressive, I wonder what would have happened if it had any part of the body instead of the phone, it would have bitten me, surely it would have.

Según Wikipedia el nombre científico de estas arañas es Salticidae y existen más de 7000 especies identificadas, curiosamente ésta a diferencia de las que he visto era blanca con verde, puesto que normalmente son oscuras o grises. Se encuentran distribuidas alrededor del todo el mundo, excepto en los polos.

According to Wikipedia the scientific name of these spiders is Salticidae and there are more than 7000 identified species, curiously this one, unlike the ones I have seen, was white with green, since they are normally dark or gray. They are distributed all over the world, except at the poles.

En el video pueden observar como ella se fija en el teléfono en mecanismo de defensa, mueve su cabeza, como quien espera un ataque para reaccionar, y era entonces cuando saltaba y desaparecía momentáneamente del foco. Creo que he capturado un comportamiento muy interesante.
