HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 159 || UMBRELLA COVER BY HOPESTYLIST

Hello there, you are highly welcome to my entry to the 159th week of hive open mic. For this week's theme Good Friend, I did a cover of one of Rihanna's popular songs with Jay k. The song is titled UMBRELLA and I believe this song fits this theme perfectly well.

Having a good friend for me, I'd say is becoming one first. We all wish and wants to have a good friend but then the question is, are you a good friend to someone? In live I believe we should only expect something from people mostly when we can offer that same thing even though of course there might be exceptions in some rare cases.

Having a good friend encompasses a lot of things and if I want to look at how far I've come in all these years of my life, I would proudly say I have had a lot of good friends and this song is specially to all of them but most especially my big sister, of course I had to look for her face to add to my video but I only had the one when we sang a song together.

My sister has been both a sister and a good friend to me, she is someone I can easily confide in without fear of being judged or misunderstood and that has helped me feel comfortable talking about things with people in general. Life will not always be as sweet and simple as we want it to be but with a good friend or friends in our lives, we will be able to say at some point of our lives that life is indeed worth living.

But like I mentioned earlier, to get a good friend, you and I have to be one and then we can easily find a good friend too. And even if we don't find a good friend, us being one is more than enough to teach others what being a good friend really means and with time they will learn how to also be one.

Hola, son muy bienvenidos a mi entrada a la semana 159 de micrófono abierto de la colmena. Para el tema de esta semana Good Friend, hice un cover de una de las canciones populares de Rihanna con Jay k. La canción se titula UMBRELLA y creo que esta canción encaja perfectamente con este tema.

Tener un buen amigo para mí, diría que es convertirse en uno primero. Todos deseamos y queremos tener un buen amigo, pero entonces la pregunta es, ¿eres un buen amigo para alguien? En vivo, creo que solo deberíamos esperar algo de las personas principalmente cuando podemos ofrecer lo mismo, aunque, por supuesto, puede haber excepciones en algunos casos raros.

Tener un buen amigo abarca muchas cosas y si quiero ver lo lejos que he llegado en todos estos años de mi vida, orgullosamente diría que he tenido muchos buenos amigos y esta canción es especialmente para todos. ellos, pero sobre todo mi hermana mayor, por supuesto que tuve que buscar su rostro para agregar a mi video, pero solo tenía uno cuando cantábamos una canción juntos.

Mi hermana ha sido tanto una hermana como una buena amiga para mí, es alguien en quien puedo confiar fácilmente sin temor a ser juzgado o malinterpretado y eso me ha ayudado a sentirme cómodo hablando de cosas con la gente en general. La vida no siempre será tan dulce y simple como queremos que sea, pero con un buen amigo o amigos en nuestras vidas, podremos decir en algún momento de nuestras vidas que la vida realmente vale la pena vivirla.

Pero como mencioné anteriormente, para conseguir un buen amigo, tú y yo tenemos que ser uno y luego podemos encontrar fácilmente un buen amigo también. Y aunque no encontremos un buen amigo, serlo es más que suficiente para enseñar a los demás lo que realmente significa ser un buen amigo y con el tiempo aprenderán a serlo también.
