Animación & Letra: F.U.M.O. & Orquesta de Cámara Mariscal Sucre - F.U.M.O. 11º Aniversario [ESP-ING]

Hoy saco a la luz de forma digital el concierto que dio inicio a mi aventura musical llamada Funerales de Una Mente Oxidada (F.U.M.O.); cuatro canciones especiales que marcan once años de dedicación y esfuerzo a este proyecto. F.U.M.O. Solo pretende ser disfrutado desde la creación musical y el refugio que me ofrece hacer de mi música la más artista posible. Luego de ese concierto, el 3 de febrero de 2013, acompañado de grandes músicos y de la Orquesta de Cámara Mariscal Sucre, empecé a entender lo que la música representa en mi vida.

Today I release digitally the concert that started my musical adventure called Funerales de Una Mente Oxidada (F.U.M.O.); four special songs that mark eleven years of dedication and effort to this project. F.U.M.M.O. only pretends to be enjoyed from the musical creation and the refuge that offers me to make my music the most artist possible. After that concert, on February 3, 2013, accompanied by great musicians and the Mariscal Sucre Chamber Orchestra, I began to understand what music represents in my life.

En su momento imprimí muchos cd's de la grabación en vivo, los cuales regalaba. Hoy, gracias a mis habilidades con algunos programas de diseño y movimiento, presento esta animación para conmemorar un año más de la constancia que he mantenido en dedicación a mi música. Me pareció ideal este concepto, ya que, a mi juicio, a nivel visual me conecta a dos tiempos, el inicio y lo vigente del proyecto.

At the time I printed many cd's of the live recording, which I gave away as gifts. Today, thanks to my skills with some design and motion programs, I present this animation to commemorate another year of constancy that I have maintained in dedication to my music. I found this concept ideal, since, in my opinion, at a visual level it connects me to two times, the beginning and the actuality of the project.

Estoy consciente que muy poco hago público la continuidad del proyecto, una actividad pasiva que mantengo como músico; me es complejo hacer cada una de las cosas que me invento para el proyecto y crear contenido, además de las responsabilidades de trabajo y vida. En los últimos años, a raíz de abandonar mi país de origen y establecerme en el extranjero, mantenerme activo como solía hacerlo ha sido cuesta arriba, ha sido un proceso de desarrollo interno increíble. Sin embargo, no he abandonado la música por todo ello, la llevo en otro ritmo.

I am aware that I do very little to make public the continuity of the project, a passive activity that I maintain as a musician; it is complex for me to do each of the things I invent for the project and create content, in addition to the responsibilities of work and life. In the last few years, as a result of leaving my home country and settling abroad, keeping active as I used to has been uphill, it has been an incredible internal development process. However, I haven't abandoned music because of all this, I've taken it to a different rhythm.

A mi juicio, esta animación transmite un simple mensaje en relación con el crecimiento del proyecto. Las canciones están presentadas en su versión más cruda e inocente. Después de la producción, estos temas han sufrido un cambio notable, el proceso de arreglos y armonías que abordé con Daniel Mendoza y Nilsson Leiva respectivamente, se logró profundizar y madurar la idea de cada canción en función al concepto del proyecto. Acá les dejo el tema "Habla el silencio" (primer tema de la animación) luego de la producción para que hagan sus comparaciones.

In my opinion, this animation conveys a simple message regarding the growth of the project. The songs are presented in their rawest and most innocent version. After the production, these songs have undergone a remarkable change, the process of arrangements and harmonies that I approached with Daniel Mendoza and Nilsson Leiva respectively, it was possible to deepen and mature the idea of each song according to the concept of the project. Here I leave you the song "Habla el silencio" (first song of the animation) after the production so you can make your comparisons.

Para este trabajo he utilizado la herramienta Adobe Illustrator para el montaje y armado de los gráficos; Adobe After Effects para la posproducción de los textos e imágenes y asignarle los comandos respectivos para crear los efectos y movimientos, y Adobe Premiere Pro para organizar todo el proyecto audiovisual, editar las partes de vídeo, textos y sonidos.

For this work I used Adobe Illustrator for the assembly and assembly of the graphics; Adobe After Effects for the post-production of texts and images and assign the respective commands to create the effects and movements, and Adobe Premiere Pro to organize the entire audiovisual project, edit the video parts, texts and sounds.

Ha sido una gran experiencia, siempre este tipo de trabajos me sorprende el render, tiempos insospechados de duración, no sabes cuánto durará la exportación mientras estás creando todos los movimientos. Inocentemente, intenté exportar los 22 min completos de animación, fue una barbaridad de horas, 67 horas, por lo que tuve que sacar del programa tema por tema, y aun así, me tocaba hacerlo mientras dormía, 6 horas de exportado para cada canción. Una vez, al tener todo exportado, armé el proyecto completo en Premiere Pro.

It has been a great experience, always this type of work surprises me the render, unsuspected times of duration, you do not know how long the export will last while you are creating all the movements. Innocently, I tried to export the whole 22 minutes of animation, it was a lot of hours, 67 hours, so I had to take out of the program track by track, and even so, I had to do it while I was sleeping, 6 hours of exporting for each song. Once I had everything exported, I put the whole project together in Premiere Pro.
