Hello everyone,

I'm so happy and glad for being able to make this week presentation. Being alive is nothing short of a miracle as I got severely ill two days ago and I was in no capacity make any video since then. I'm happy that I'm back on my feet now and able to make this week submission today which is the last day.

For this week, I will be doing a cover of the song Love me, Love me, Love me by Tiwa Savage. I choose this song because a lot of things had happened this year. I'm super grateful for myself and my family that no one is found missing or dead. At the same time, not all families can say that. Lots of lives were lost this year and I mean a lot. Suicide rate increased drastically, divorce high, depression went over the rocks. I know what I faced this year and how hard it is to have to face it alone. I'm grateful for the gift of family and friends, they kept me sane even without them knowing through their love, care and kindness. That is why I choose this song to encourage us to show love to people around us. This song is not just for lovers but for us all. This new year, let it be our resolution to reach out to people. To show true act of kindness, to love genuinely without expecting anything back in return. Let us learn to be our brothers keeper so we can stay alive together.

The song is an Afrobeat and it's one I love so much and so in order to be able to move my body with it, I accompany my presentation with the music instrumental which I generated here. The song is a mixture of both English and Yoruba but majorly English. The subtitle of the Yoruba parts are beside each sentence in the brackets as shown in the lyrics below.
