Hola mis amores

En el día de hoy quiero mostrarle una tradición que representa el pilar de la fe en mi ciudad Villa de Cura, edo. Aragua, Venezuela, se trata de las peregrinaciones a la gruta de Lourdes en su 120 aniversario.

Recibí alrededor de 7 años de educación católica y es mucho lo que hay detrás de esta celebración que año tras años transcurre en los meses de enero o febrero, sin duda, el pecho se me hincha de orgullo cuando escucho las notas del “prodigio sublime” que acompaña el caminar de los peregrinos y quienes acompañamos como muestra de hospitalidad, por ello hoy le muestro un viernes de peregrinaciones.

Hello my loves

Today I want to show you a tradition that represents the pillar of faith in my city Villa de Cura, Aragua, Venezuela, it is the pilgrimage to the grotto of Lourdes on its 120th anniversary.

I received about 7 years of Catholic education and there is much behind this celebration that year after year takes place in the months of January or February, no doubt, my chest swells with pride when I hear the notes of the "sublime wonder" that accompanies the walk of the pilgrims and those who accompany us as a sign of hospitality, so today I show you a Friday of pilgrimages.

Peregrinos maravillosos

Es increíble lo que hace la fe y esperanza en la vida de las personas, y todos estos creyentes que vestidos de blanco marchan hacia la gruta son ejemplo de fe y más allá de lo que esto supone cualquiera puede apreciar del evento lo grandioso de ellos.

Desde una vestimenta que representa la pureza a la virgen María hasta las suplicas que son susurradas en silencio, su presencia en la ciudad de Villa de Cura marca una huella imborrable cuando de tradiciones se trata.

Wonderful pilgrims

It is incredible what faith and hope do in people's lives, and all these believers dressed in white who march to the grotto are an example of faith and beyond what this implies anyone can appreciate how great they are.

From a dress that represents purity to the Virgin Mary to the supplications that are whispered in silence, their presence in the city of Villa de Cura marks an indelible mark when it comes to traditions.

Mi orgullo

Como villacurana me siento orgullosa de esta tradición que se mantiene intacta con el pasar de los años. Donde me sitúe siempre hablaré de la hospitalidad de mi ciudad, de lo grandioso de mi gente y de la energía que se instala en mi corazón mientras acompaño en el prodigio sublime a estos caminantes.

Son casi 5 años los que me mantuvieron alejadas de estos momentos, que presenciarlo hoy en horas de la mañana sin duda me hicieron sentir una alegría y nostalgia indescriptibles.

Muchos son los personajes que eran de importancia para las peregrinaciones y ya no están, pero tengo la firme creencia que desde el cielo nos acompañan.

Mi mensaje

Sentir orgullo por lo que te rodea y te ve crecer no es una obligación, pero en mi caso tengo el sentido de pertenencia tatuado en mi piel, así que más allá de la fe cristiana esta tradición es un acontecimiento digno de admirar de allí mis ganas de compartirlo con todos ustedes.

My pride

As a villacurana I am proud of this tradition that remains intact over the years. Wherever I am, I will always talk about the hospitality of my city, the greatness of my people and the energy that settles in my heart while I accompany these walkers in the sublime prodigy.

It is almost 5 years that kept me away from these moments, that witnessing it today in the morning hours undoubtedly made me feel an indescribable joy and nostalgia.

Many are the characters that were of importance for the pilgrimages and are no longer here, but I have the firm belief that from heaven they accompany us.

My message

Feeling pride for what surrounds you and sees you grow is not an obligation, but in my case I have the sense of belonging tattooed on my skin, so beyond the Christian faith this tradition is an event worthy of admiration hence my desire to share it with all of you.
