Hi guys, welcome to George Dee's food blog. I know Sundays are just the days I share my food experiment on Hive but you will see more of me lately and I hope you all enjoy my midweek food blog just as you enjoy my entries for Hive Learners Creative Sunday Initiative.
Today, I made a simple snacks known as plantain fritters. It is really delicious and yummy, I can bet you would want to have more if you try it out. I have seen the recipe online but decided to step up mine with some recipes and the outcome was great.
After pounding everything, I added flour and a little quantity of baking powder and mixed them until everything blended well.
I heated the pan and poured groundnut oil in it. I waited for a few minutes to allow the groundnut oil to get hot before I cut the mixture bit by bit into the hot oil. I allowed it to fry for a few minutes under low heat to prevent it from burning immediately after it got into the oil.
Plantain fritters is nutritious and economical. They can be taken as snacks or added to meals like rice, spaghetti and even beans, it will definitely add more vibes to whatever meal it is.
Feel free to ask me any questions in the comment section if there is anything you didn't understand in the process.
