A few weeks ago I went to the city to a rap event in the company of my team PDMRAP, with which we managed to make an appearance at a freestyle event. I tell you about maturin;

It was founded on December 7, 1760 by Lucas de Zaragoza, this city is the main political, administrative, financial, commercial and service center of the state of Monagas. It takes its name from an indigenous Chaima named Maturín who was the cacique (chief) of a tribe located near the city. >I really don't want to bore you with history lessons so let's get down to the important stuff. **This city has multiple tourist centers such as;** • Cathedral of Nuestra Señora del Carmen; which is a catholic temple of Romanesque style (it is the first thing you see in the video) is located between Bolivar Avenue and Monagas Street, was inaugurated in 1981 and is one of the most modern cathedrals in Latin America. ![](

) • Paseo Aeróbico; it is located in the Juanico sector (it is the second thing seen in the video) this place offers magnificent views of the exit and entrance of the airplanes to the runway of the airport of the city. • La Guaricha Zoo Park; this is located on Raul Leoni Avenue near the old terminal of the international airport, this park was built between 1976 and 1978 (I did not go there this time so I owe you the photos) since then it has been an icon of the city, in this place there are currently several exotic animals. There is a statue of the Indio Maturín and 13 tubular metal figures representing the municipalities of the state. • La Cascada shopping center; which is located via Tremador to the south of the city is one of the most important shopping centers in the city (I only mentioned this one because it is where I have pictures) it has a great family atmosphere and a wide range of stores such as supermarkets, cinemas and entertainment places for children.

Acompañame a conocer maturin, hace ya unas semanas fui a la ciudad a un evento de rap en compañía de mi equipo PDMRAP, con el cual logramos hacer acto presencia en un evento de freestyle. Les comento sobre maturin;

[Maturin](http://https://maps.app.goo.gl/KWtdAyAvroDGHaPx9) > Es una ciudad venezolana y capital del estado Monagas. Fue fundada el 7 de diciembre de 1760 por Lucas de Zaragoza, esta ciudad es el principal centro político, administrativo, financiero, comercial y de servicios del estado Monagas. •Toma su nombre de un Chaima indígena llamado Maturín el cual era cacique (jefe) de una tribu localizada cerca de la ciudad. >La verdad no los quiero aburrir con clases de historia así que vayamos a lo importante.

Ésta ciudad cuenta con múltiples centros turísticos como;

• Catedral de Nuestra Señora del Carmen; que es un templo católico de estilo románico ( es lo primero que se ve en el vídeo ) está situado entre la avenida Bolívar y la calle Monagas, fue inaugurada en 1981 y es una de las catedrales más modernas de América Latina.

• Paseo Aeróbico; está ubicado en el sector Juanico ( es lo segundo que se ve en el vídeo ) este lugar ofrece vistas magníficas de la salida y entrada de los aviones a la pista de aterrizaje del aeropuerto de la ciudad. • Parque Zoológico La Guaricha; este se encuentra en la avenida Raúl Leoni cerca del antiguo terminal del aeropuerto internacional este parque fue construido entre 1976 y 1978 ( no fui allí está vez así que les debo las fotos ) desde entonces ha sido un ícono referente de la ciudad, en este lugar actualmente se encuentran varios animales exóticos. En ella se encuentra una estatua del Indio Maturín y unas 13 figuras tubulares de metal que representan los municipios del estado. • Centro comercial La Cascada; el cual está via temblador al sur de la ciudad es uno de los centros comerciales más importantes de la ciudad ( solo mencioné este porque es donde tengo fotos ) cuenta con una gran ambiente familiar y una amplia gama de comercios como supermercados cines y lugares de entretenimiento para los niños.
